Reading and storing the user manual
This user manual accompanies this wireless keyboard and mouse
set (hereafter referred to as the “product), and contains important
information on setup and handling.
Before using the product, read the user manual carefully. This
particularly applies to the safety instructions. Failure to do so may result in
personal injury or damage to the product.
Store the user manual for further use. Make sure to include this user manual
when passing the product on to third parties.
Proper use
The product is exclusively designed as input devices for a computer. It is only
intended for private use and not suitable for commercial purposes.
Only use the product as described in this user manual. Any other use is
considered improper and may result in damage to property or persons.

This product can be used by children aged from 8 years

if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning the use of the product in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play
with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children without supervision.
Keep the product away from children. Small parts are
included. They may cause suffocation if swallowed or
inhaled.
To avoid injury to the eyes, do not look directly into the LED
light source of the optical sensor. Do not look at the LED
light source using optical instruments.
Turn the product off when on board of an aircraft, in
a hospital, in an operating theater or in the vicinity
of electronic medical equipment. The RF signals may
interfere with the functionality of sensitive devices.

Keep the product at least 8 inches (20 cm) away from
pacemakers, as the RF signals could interfere with its
functionality.
Do not use the product near flammable gases or in a

Make sure that children do not play with the plastic

suffocate.

quality batteries could leak and cause damage.
Before inserting the batteries, ensure that the contacts
in the battery compartments and on the batteries
themselves are clean and intact. Clean these if necessary.

are dead. Likewise, remove the batteries if you do not
intend to use the product for a prolonged period of time.
Otherwise the batteries may leak and cause damage.
Remove the batteries before disposing of the product.
Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are
not to be mixed.
The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
If the batteries leak, do not remove battery fluid with
your bare hands. Do not allow battery fluid to come
into contact with skin, eyes or mucous membranes. Use
normal household washing gloves. If, however, your
skin has come into contact with battery fluid, wash the
corresponding area of your skin immediately and consult
a physician if necessary.
Wipe the leaked battery fluid up with a damp cloth. You
can wash the cloth and reuse it or dispose of it with your
household waste.

Checking the product and scope of delivery

If you are not cautious when opening the packaging with a
sharp knife or other pointed object, you may quickly damage
the product.
For this reason, be very careful when opening it.
1. Take the product out of the packaging.
2. Check to make sure that all parts are included (see Fig. A).
3. Check whether the product or individual parts are damaged. If this is the
case, do not use the product. Contact the manufacturer via the toll -free
telephone number indicated on the warranty card.
Installing the product
Installing or replacing batteries
The keyboard is powered by one AAA battery.
The mouse is powered by one AA battery.

1. Remove the battery compartment cover 6 on the underside of the
keyboard 1.
2. Insert the AAA battery 15 into the battery compartment. Make sure the
polarity (+/–) is correct.
For battery replacement, remove the old battery first.
3. Close the battery compartment cover.

1. Remove the battery compartment cover 13 on the underside of the
mouse 7.
2. Insert the AA battery 16 into the battery compartment. Make sure the
polarity (+/–) is correct.
For battery replacement, remove the old battery first.
3. Close the battery compartment cover.
Installing the USB receiver
1. Remove the battery compartment cover 13 on the underside of the
mouse 7 and then remove the USB receiver 17 from the battery
compartment (see Fig. B).
2. Close the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert the USB receiver into the USB port of your computer (see Fig. C).
Operation
The product is a plug-and-play device and requires no driver
installation and setup.
The maximum distance between the product and USB
receiver is around 33 ft (10 m).
The product will automatically enter into sleep mode if it is
idle for about 10 minutes. Press any button to turn on the
product again.
Before using the product
1. Make sure the batteries 15 /16 are installed in the keyboard 1 and in
the mouse 7, respectively (see chapter “Installing or replacing batteries”).
2. Make sure the USB receiver 17 is inserted into the USB port of your
computer (see chapter “Installing the USB receiver).
Using the keyboard
The keyboard 1 is ready to use once the AAA battery 15 is installed and
it is successfully connected to the USB receiver 17 .
If necessary, fl ip down the support feet 5 to tilt up the keyboard.
The number lock indicator 2 lights up when the number pad is enabled
for typing numbers.
The caps lock indicator 3 lights up when the caps lock feature is enabled.
The low battery indicator 4 lights up when the battery power level is low.
Replace the AAA battery (see chapter “Installing or replacing batteries”).

If you are not going to use the keyboard for a long period of time, remove
the AAA battery from the battery compartment. Store the battery in a cool,
dry place and keep it away from children.
Using the mouse
Slide the on/off switch 12 on the underside of the mouse 7 to the
ON position to switch the mouse on.
The optical sensor 14 lights up when the mouse is switched on.
The mouse is ready to use once it is successfully connected to the USB
receiver 17 .
To confi gure the mouse (including the left button 8, scroll wheel/middle
button 9 and right button 10 ), go to the mouse setting menu of your
computer’s operating system.
Press the DPI button 11 to cycle through the mouse sensitivity settings
(800, 1,200 and 1,600 DPI). The higher you set the DPI of the mouse, the
faster your cursor will move.
If the mouse fails to respond, the battery power level may be low. Replace
the AA battery (see chapter “Installing or replacing batteries”).
If you are not going to use the mouse for a long period of time, slide the
on/off switch to the OFF position to switch it off.
Troubleshooting
Some problems may be caused by minor faults that you can fix yourself. To
do so, follow the instructions in the following table. If it is still not possible
to resolve the problem, contact customer service. Do not repair the product
yourself.

If you are not going to use the product for a long period of time, remove

USB receiver 17 from your computer and store it inside the battery
compartment of the mouse.
Always store the product in a dry area.
Protect the product from direct sunlight.
Store the product so that it is not accessible to children.
