2.1 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung

Das Gerät ist für den Einsatz im häuslichen Umfeld vorgesehen.

Es kann von nicht eingewiesenen Personen sicher bedient wer-

den. In nicht häuslicher Umgebung, z.B. im Kleingewerbe, kann

das Gerät ebenfalls verwendet werden, sofern die Benutzung in

gleicher Weise erfolgt.

Das Gerät ermöglicht die Bedienung des jeweiligen Durchlauf-

erhitzers aus der Ferne.

Eine andere oder darüber hinausgehende Benutzung gilt als nicht

bestimmungsgemäß. Zum bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch ge-

hört auch das Beachten dieser Anleitung sowie der Anleitungen

für eingesetztes Zubehör.

2.2 Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise

WARNUNG Verletzung

Das Gerät kann von Kindern ab 3Jahren sowie von Per-

sonen mit verringerten physischen, sensorischen oder

mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und

Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt werden

oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes un-

terwiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefah-

ren verstanden haben. Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät

spielen. Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht

von Kindern ohne Beaufsichtigung durchgeführt werden.

2.3 Prüfzeichen

Siehe Typenschild am Gerät.

Hinweis

Die Funk-Fernbedienung besitzt 2 Lithium-Knopfzellen

als Batterie für die Spannungsversorgung.

Entfernen Sie verbrauchte Batterien. Auslaufende Bat-

terien verursachen Schäden, für die wir nicht haften.

Nicht wiederauﬂadbare Batterien dürfen nicht aufgela-

den werden.

Der Einsatz von wiederauﬂadbaren Batterien und Akkus

ist nicht zulässig.

Verwenden Sie keine unterschiedlichen Batterietypen

oder neue und gebrauchte Batterien zusammen.

Falls das Gerät für einen längeren Zeitraum nicht benutzt

wird, sollten Sie die Batterie entfernen (siehe das Kapitel

„Batteriewechsel“).

2.4 EU-Konformitätserklärung

Hinweis

Hiermit erklärt STIEBELELTRON, dass der Funkanlagen-

typ FFB 1 | FFB 2 der Richtlinie 2014/53/EU entspricht. Der

3. Beschreibung

FFB 1 und FFB 2 ermöglichen eine Fernbedienung der Durchlauf-

erhitzer DHE .. SL(i) electronic comfort, DEL .. SL(i), DHE electronic

comfort sowie CDE und FDE per Funk (433 MHz).

Die FFB2 arbeitet nur in Verbindung mit dem Empfangsmodul

des FFB 1.

Nach Installation des FFB1 kann der Durchlauferhitzer über die

Funk-Fernbedienung und/oder direkt am Bedienteil des Gerätes

eingestellt werden (siehe Bedienung). Das Funkbedienteil ist was-

serdicht (IPX7) und kann somit auch beim Duschen oder Baden

benutzt werden. Die Reichweite des Funkbe dienteiles beträgt ca.

25m im Gebäude.

Zusätzlich zum Funkbedienteil des FFB1 können bis zu 5 weitere

Funkbedienteile FFB 2 mit dem Empfangsmodul im Durchlauf-

erhitzer kommunizieren.

Batteriewechsel

Da jedes Funkbedienteil einen individuellen Sendercode besitzt,

muss jedes FFB2 zuerst beim Empfangsmodul angemeldet wer-

den (siehe FFB2 Erstin be triebnahme).

Beim FFB1 ist der Sendercode des Funkbe dienteiles bereits an-

gemeldet.

5. Bedienung

Das Funkbedienteil beﬁndet sich im Normal fall im stromsparen-

den Modus (Display ausgeschaltet). Durch kurzes Drücken einer

beliebigen Taste wird das Bedienteil aktiviert. Erfolgt im aktivier-

ten Zustand innerhalb von 20 Sekunden keine Betätigung einer

Taste, schaltet das Bedienteil automatisch wieder in den stromspa-

renden Modus.

Erfolgt die Aktivierung des Bedienteiles über die

- oder -

Taste, wird der zuletzt eingestellte Sollwert angezeigt und zum

Durchlauferhitzer übertragen. Eine Änderung der Solltempera-

tur kann danach durch einzelnes Drücken der - Tasten in

0,5 °C-Schritten oder durch anhaltendes Drücken mit schnellem

Vor- oder Rücklauf (Scrollen) erfolgen.

Beim Aktivieren durch Drücken der Speichertasten

wird

der entsprechende Speicherwert angezeigt und übertragen. Somit

ist die einfache und schnelle Auswahl einer häuﬁg verwendeten

Soll temperatur möglich.

Jede vom Durchlauferhitzer akzeptierte Sollwertänderung wird

durch ein akustisches Signal (piepen) des in den Durchlauferhitzer

eingebauten Empfangsmoduls bestätigt. Dieses Signal kann auf

Kundenwunsch vom Fachmann deaktiviert werden.

5.1 Speichertastenbelegung

Um die Belegung der Speichertasten zu verändern, ist der ge-

wünschte Sollwert im Display einzustellen und dann die entspre-

chende Speichertaste für ca. 3 Sekunden zu drücken. Ein kurzes

Ausblenden der Anzeige bestätigt die Abspeicherung der Tem-

peratur.

Bei Verwendung mehrerer Funkbedienteile hat jedes Funkbedien-

teil zwei eigene Speicherplätze. Somit können

an jedem

Funkbedienteil und am Durchlauferhitzer vollkommen individuell

eingestellt werden.

5.2 Dynamischer Verbrühschutz

Bei Verwendung mehrerer Funkbedienteile erhält das zeitlich zu-

erst sendende Bedienteil automatisch eine Priorität auf die maxi-

mal einzustellenden Temperatur-Werte. Die Priorität besteht für

2 Minuten oder bis 2 Minuten nach Ende der aktuellen Zapfung

und wird danach automatisch wieder deaktiviert.

Während der Zeitdauer der Priorität kann von weiteren Funk-

bedienteilen die Temperatur nur verringert werden. Wird diese

Temperatur auf ≤43°C verringert, wird der dynamische Verbrüh-

schutz aktiviert; d.h. für diesen Zapfvorgang kann von keinem

Funkbedienteil mehr die Temperatur über 43 °C angehoben wer-

den. Beispiel: Wird auf einem Funkbedienteil ein Temperatur-Wert

von z.B. 55°C im Display angezeigt und an den Durchlauferhitzer

übertragen, so erhöht der Durchlauferhitzer die Wassertempera-

tur jedoch nur auf 43°C.

Bei gleichzeitiger Verwendung mehrerer Funkbedienteile kann

die tatsächlich eingestellte Temperatur von der Anzeige auf dem

Funkbedienteil abweichen. Nur das gerade aktive Funkbedienteil

zeigt den aktuellen Wert an.

Bei Auslauftemperaturen von mehr als 43 °C besteht Verbrü-

hungsgefahr.

5.3 Bedienung am Gerät

DHE .. SL(i) electronic comfort

Eine Bedienung am Durchlauferhitzer ist weiterhin in der gewohn-

ten Art möglich, das interne Bedienteil ist komplett in das Konzept

des dynamischen Verbrühschutzes (siehe Kapitel „Dynamischer

Verbrühschutz) eingebunden.

DHE electronic comfort

Eine Bedienung am Durchlauferhitzer ist weiter hin in der gewohn-

ten Art möglich. Grundsätzlich hat aber eine Bedienung über die

Funkstrecke Vorrang.

Findet eine Sollwertverstellung über Funk statt, so wird das in-

terne Bedienteil für die Dauer der aktuellen Zapfung gesperrt.

2Minuten nach Ende der Zapfung wird das DHE-Bedienteil au-

tomatisch wieder freigegeben. Soll für eine Zapfung eine Tem-

peratur am DHE-Bedienteil eingestellt und eine Verstellung über

die Funkstrecke unterbunden werden, so ist der Temperatur-Ein-

stellknopf am DHE vor der Zapfung zu drücken. 5Minuten nach

Ende der Zapfung wird diese Sperrung automatisch aufgehoben

(durch erneutes Drücken des Einstellknopfes kann die Sperrung

auch vorzeitig wieder aufgehoben werden).

DEL .. SL(i) electronic LCD

Das Bedienteil am Durchlauferhitzer zeigt nur die an der FFB ein-

gestellte Temperatur an, es kann keine Verstellung erfolgen.

CDE/FDE ..

Das Bedienteil am Durchlauferhitzer ist außer Funktion.

5.4 Batteriewechsel

Das Funkbedienteil wird von 2 Lithiumzellen (Bauform CR2032

bzw. CR2025) versorgt. Ist ein Batteriewechsel notwendig, er-

scheint das Symbol im Display.

Sachschaden

 Entfernen Sie unbedingt verbrauchte Batterien.

Für Schäden durch eine ausgelaufene Batterie haften wir

nicht.

 Zum Wechseln der Batterien ist das Gehäuseunterteil ab-

zuschrauben und beide Batterien in den Batteriehaltern

auszutauschen. Auf die korrekte Polung der Batterien achten

(+ nach oben). Immer gleichartige Batterietypen verwenden

und paarweise tauschen.

Während des Batteriewechsels bleiben die gespeicherten Werte

für die Tasten

erhalten.

Batterie entsorgen

Batterien dürfen Sie nicht im Hausmüll entsorgen. Alt-

batterien enthalten möglicherweise Schadstoffe, die der

Umwelt und Gesundheit schaden können. Verbrauchte

Batterien müssen Sie beim Handel oder einer Sammel-

stelle für Sonderstoffe abgeben.

Sachschaden

 Bei der Montage des Gehäuseunterteiles ist darauf

zu achten, dass die Dichtung korrekt im Gehäuse-

oberteil liegt, damit die Dichtigkeit des Bedienteils

gewährleistet bleibt.

5.5 Hinweise zur Funkstrecke

Spezielle Gegebenheiten in Gebäuden können zu einer Schwä-

chung der Ausbreitung der Funkwellen führen. In solchen Fällen

kann die Reichweite der Fernbedienung reduziert sein.

Da der verwendete Frequenzbereich von 433 MHz auch für andere

Anwendungen (Funkthermostate, Wetterstationen mit Funküber-

tragung, Funkkopfhörer etc.) frei zur Verfügung steht, kann es bei

zeitgleichem Senden eventuell zu einer Störung der Funkstrecke

zum Durchlauferhitzer kommen. Hier besteht kein Risiko, d.h. es

kann nicht zu einer ungewollten Veränderung der Solltemperatur

kommen, aber in diesem Fall kann ein gesendeter Temperatur-

sollwert vom Empfänger nicht erkannt werden. In solchen Fällen

ist eine Wiederholung der Einstellung notwendig.

5.6 Wandhalterung

Die zum Lieferumfang gehörende Wandhalterung kann bei Bedarf

vom Benutzer an einen beliebigen Ort zur Aufnahme des Funkbe-

dienteils montiert werden.

6. Pﬂege

Zur Pﬂege der Teile genügt ein feuchtes Tuch. Keine scheuernden

oder lösenden Reinigungsmittel verwenden.

INSTALLATION

7. Sicherheit

Die Installation, Inbetriebnahme sowie Wartung und Reparatur

des Gerätes darf nur von einem Fachhandwerker durchgeführt

werden.

7.1 Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise

Wir gewährleisten eine einwandfreie Funktion und Betriebssicher-

heit nur, wenn das für das Gerät bestimmte Original-Zubehör und

die originalen Ersatzteile verwendet werden.

7.2 Vorschriften, Normen und Bestimmungen

Hinweis

Beachten Sie alle nationalen und regionalen Vorschriften

und Bestimmungen.

- Die Bedienungs- und Installationsanleitung vom Durchlauf-

erhitzer ist bei der Installation und Bedienung zu beachten.

- Alle elektrischen Anschluss- und Installations arbeiten sind

nach den VDE-Bestimmungen (0100), den Vorschriften des

zuständigen EVU’s sowie den entsprechenden nationalen

und regionalen Vorschriften auszuführen.

8. Vorbereitungen

Um eine Verbindung zwischen dem Durchlauferhitzer und dem

Funkbedienteil

herzustellen, muss zuerst das Empfangsmodul

der FFB installiert werden.

Soll der Durchlauferhitzer über mehrere Funkbedienteile bedient

werden, können an das eingebaute Empfangsmodul bis zu 5 wei-

tere FFB 2-Funkbedienteile angemeldet werden.

Einbau des Empfangsmoduls und / oder Erstinbetriebnahme der

FFB 2 müssen von einem Fachmann unter Beachtung dieser Ins-

tallationsanleitung durchgeführt werden.

9. Montage

Beachten Sie die Bedienungs- und Installationsanleitung des

Durchlauferhitzers!

9.1 FFB1

Zur Inbetriebnahme des FFB1 ist das Empfangsmodul in den

Durchlauferhitzer einzubauen. Danach kann sofort über das Funk-

bedienteil geregelt werden.

Zum Einbau des Empfangsmoduls in den Durchlauferhitzer ist

wie folgt vorzugehen:

 Durchlauferhitzer spannungsfrei schalten;

 Gerätekappe des Durchlauferhitzers wie in der Geräte-Instal-

lationsanleitung beschrieben abnehmen;

Hierbei darauf achten, dass das Steckerkabel des Empfangs-

moduls über das bereits vorhandene Kabel auf Steckplatz

„X1“ gelegt wird.

CDE, FDE

 Die Sollwertgeberleitung muss abgezogen und in der Geräte-

kappe befestigt werden.

9.2 Montage abschließen

 Gerätekappe des Durchlauferhitzers montieren und Durch-

lauferhitzer an Spannung legen (Installationsanleitung

Durchlauferhitzer beachten!).

Für FFB1 sind keine Maßnahmen zur Erstinbetriebnahme nötig.

Die Funk-Fernbedienung funktioniert sofort nach Einbau des Emp-

fangsmoduls.

9.3 FFB2

Zur Aktivierung eines FFB2-Funkbedienteiles muss dessen Sen-

dercode zur Erstinbetrieb nahme einmal zum Empfangsmodul

übertragen werden.

Bei der Erstinbetriebnahme von FFB 2-Bedienteilen muss der

Durchlauferhitzer betriebsbereit sein. Die folgenden Arbeiten

müssen unter Spannung erfolgen. Nach Öffnen der Gerätekappe

auf spannungsführende Teile achten.

Erstinbetriebnahme

 Gerätekappe des Durchlauferhitzers wie in der Installations-

anleitung des Durchlauferhitzer beschrieben abnehmen.

 Lernmodus durch Drücken der Taste in dem Empfangsmo-

dul aktivieren. Hierzu ist beim DHE .. SL das Modul aus dem

Steckplatz zu entnehmen. Der aktivierte Lernmodus wird

durch die leuchtende LED in dem Empfangsmodul angezeigt.

Nach 30 Sekunden ohne Empfang verlässt das Empfangsmo-

dul den Lernmodus automatisch und die LED geht aus.

 Während des Lernmodus eine beliebige Taste an dem neuen

Funkbedienteil drücken. Als Bestätigung des Lernvorganges

blinkt LED mehrmals und geht dann aus.

 Kontrollmöglichkeit: eine Sollwertverstellung über das Funk-

bedienteil wird durch zweifaches Blinken der LED bestätigt,

blinkt LED nur einmal, so muss der Lernvorgang wiederholt

werden.

 Gerätekappe des Durchlauferhitzers und ggf. das Empfangs-

modul wieder montieren (Installationsanleitung des Durch-

lauferhitzer beachten!).

Weitere Funkbedienteile werden in gleicher Weise in Betrieb ge-

nommen.

Werden mehrere Funkbedienteile nacheinander angemeldet, ist

die Taste zur Aktivierung des Lernmodus in dem Empfangsmodul

für jedes Funkbedienteil neu zu drücken.

10. Abmelden eines Funkbedienteiles

Wird aus einer bestehenden Anlage (ein Durchlauferhitzer mit

z.B. zwei Funkbedienteilen) ein Funkbedienteil entfernt, ist fol-

gende Vorgehensweise aus Sicherheitsgründen erforderlich:

 mit dem in der Anlage verbleibenden Funkbedienteil ist der

Anmeldevorgang am Durchlauferhitzer 6x zu wiederholen,

siehe Erstin betrieb nahme (auf diese Weise wird der indivi-

duelle Sendercode des abzumeldenden Funkbedienteiles im

Em pfangsmodul gelöscht);

 bei mehreren verbleibenden Funkbedien teilen ist jedes neu

anzumelden.

11. Deaktivierung des akustischen

Empfangssignales

Wird vom Kunden eine Deaktivierung des akustischen Signales

gewünscht, ist das Empfangsmodul zu öffnen und der Stecker

abzuziehen. Soll später einmal das Signal wieder aktiviert werden,

ist nur der Stecker wieder aufzustecken.

12. Übergabe

Erklären Sie dem Benutzer die Funktionen des Gerätes. Machen

Sie ihn besonders auf die Sicherheitshinweise aufmerksam. Über-

reichen Sie dem Benutzer die Bedienungs- und Installationsan-

leitung.

Aussagen zu:

„Umwelt, Recycling, Kundendienst und Garantie“ siehe Bedie-

nungs- und Installationsanleitung Durchlauferhitzer.

1.1 Relevant documents

2.1 Intended use

The appliance is intended for domestic use. It can be used safely

by untrained persons. The appliance can also be used in non-do-

mestic environments, e.g. in small businesses, as long as it is

used in the same way.

The device allows the relevant instantaneous water heater to be

operated remotely.

Any other use beyond that described shall be deemed inappro-

priate. Observation of these instructions and of the instructions

for any accessories used is also part of the correct use of this

appliance.

2.2 General safety instructions

The appliance may be used by children aged3 and older

and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental

capabilities or a lack of experience and know-how, pro-

vided that they are supervised or they have been in-

structed on how to use the appliance safely and have

understood the potential risks. Children must never play

with the appliance. Children must never clean the ap-

pliance or perform user maintenance unless they are

supervised.

Note

The wireless remote control is powered by a lithium but-

ton cell.

Remove spent batteries. Leaking batteries cause damage

which is excluded from any warranty. Non-rechargeable

batteries must not be recharged.

Never use rechargeable batteries.

Never use different types of batteries or new and used

batteries together.

If the appliance is not used for a prolonged period, re-

move the battery (see chapter "Changing the battery").

Receiver module FFB1

The FFB2 only operates in conjunction with receiver module FFB1.

Following the installation of FFB1, the instantaneous water heater

can be adjusted via wireless remote control and/or directly at the

programming unit on the appliance (see Operation). The wireless

programming unit is waterproof (IPX7) and can therefore also

be used whilst showering or bathing. The range of the wireless

programming unit is approx. 25m within the building.

In addition to the wireless programming unit of FFB1, up to 5

further wireless programming units FFB2 can communicate with

the receiver module in the instantaneous water heater.

Changing the battery

Since each wireless programming unit has an individual transmit-

ter code, each FFB2 must ﬁrst be paired with the receiver module

(see FFB2 Initial start-up).

With FFB1, the transmitter code of the wireless programming

unit is already paired.

5. Operation

The wireless programming unit is normally in power saving mode

(display switched off). Brieﬂy pressing any button will activate the

programming unit. If no button is pressed within 20seconds when

the unit is activated, the programming unit automatically switches

back to power saving mode.

If the programming unit is activated via the

or button, the

last set value is displayed and transferred to the instantaneous

water heater. The set temperature can then be changed by individ-

ually pressing the buttons in 0.5°C increments or holding

down and scrolling up or down.

When activating the unit by pressing memory buttons

the

corresponding stored value is displayed and transmitted. This lets

you simply and quickly select a frequently used preset temper-

ature.

Each change to the set value that the instantaneous water heater

accepts is conﬁrmed by an audible signal (beep) from the receiver

module installed in the instantaneous water heater. This signal

can be deactivated by the contractor at the customer's request.

5.1 Saving temperature to memory buttons

To reconﬁgure the memory buttons, select the desired set value

on the display then press the corresponding memory button for

approx. 3seconds. The display will brieﬂy fade out to conﬁrm the

temperature has been saved.

If using several wireless programming units, each wireless pro-

gramming unit has two dedicated memory cells. As a result

on each wireless programming unit and on the instantaneous

water heater can all be assigned individual settings.

5.2 Dynamic anti-scalding protection

If several wireless programming units are being used, priority for

setting the maximum temperature values is automatically given

to the ﬁrst programming unit to transmit a signal. This priority

is available for twominutes or until twominutes after the end of

the current draw-off and is then automatically disabled again.

During the priority phase, the other wireless programming units

can only reduce the temperature. If this temperature is reduced

to ≤43°C, the dynamic anti-scalding protection is activated; this

prevents any wireless programming unit from increasing the tem-

perature above 43°C for this draw-off event. Example: If a tem-

perature value of, for example, 55°C is shown on the display of a

wireless programming unit and transmitted to the instantaneous

water heater, the instantaneous water heater increases the water

temperature to just 43°C.

If several wireless programming units are being used at the same

time, the actual set temperature may differ from that shown on the

display of the wireless programming unit. Only the wireless pro-

gramming unit that is currently active displays the current value.

Outlet temperatures in excess of 43°C lead to a risk of scalding.

5.3 Appliance operation

DHE .. SL(i) electronic comfort

The instantaneous water heater can still be operated in the usual

way; the internal programming unit is fully integrated into the

dynamic anti-scalding protection concept (see chapter "Dynamic

anti-scalding protection").

DHE electronic comfort

The instantaneous water heater can still be operated as usual.

In principle, however, operation via the transmission path has

priority.

If a set value adjustment takes place wirelessly, the internal pro-

gramming unit is blocked for the duration of the current draw-off.

2minutes after the end of the draw-off, the DHE programming

unit is automatically re-enabled. If a temperature is to be set

on the DHE programming unit for a draw-off and an adjustment

via the transmission path is to be stopped, then the temperature

selector on the DHE must be pressed before the draw-off. 5min-

utes after the end of the draw-off, this blocking is automatically

suspended (by pressing the selector again, the blocking can also

be suspended again early).

DEL .. SL(i) electronic LCD

The programming unit on the instantaneous water heater indi-

cates only the temperature selected via the FFB (wireless remote

control), and no adjustment may be made.

CDE/FDE ..

The programming unit on the instantaneous water heater is dis-

abled.

5.4 Changing the battery

The wireless programming unit is powered by two lithium cells

(type CR2032 or CR2025). If a battery change is required, the sym-

bol appears on the display.

Material losses

 Always remove spent batteries.

Any damage caused by a leaking battery is excluded from

the warranty.

 To change the batteries, unscrew the lower part of the casing

and replace both batteries in the battery holders. Ensure

correct polarity of the new batteries (+ at the top). Always

use batteries of identical type and replace both batteries

together.

During the battery change, the stored values for buttons

are retained.

Battery disposal

Never dispose of batteries with domestic waste. Spent

batteries may contain noxious substances that can be det-

rimental to the environment and human health. Dispose

of spent batteries through your dealer or via a central

recycling point for special waste.

Material losses

 When installing the lower part of the casing, make

sure that the gasket lies correctly in the casing top in

order to maintain the leak tightness of the program-

ming unit.

5.5 Information on transmission paths

Special conditions inside buildings can result in weakening of the

transmission path spread. In such cases, the range of the remote

control can be reduced.

The frequency range used (433MHz) is also freely available for

use by other applications (wireless thermostats, weather stations

with wireless transmission, wireless headphones, etc.). Therefore

the transmission path to the instantaneous water heater may be

disrupted if other devices are transmitting at the same time. This

does not pose any risk. It will not cause an unintentional change

in the set temperature, for example. However in this case it may

mean that a transmitted set temperature is not recognised by the

receiver. In such instances, you will need to repeat the setting.

5.6 Wall mounting bracket

The wall retainer included in the standard delivery can be installed

in any location by the user and used to stored the wireless pro-

gramming unit.

6. Care

Use a damp cloth to clean the components. Never use abrasive or

corrosive cleaning agents.

Only a qualiﬁed contractor should carry out installation, commis-

sioning, maintenance and repair of the appliance.

7.1 General safety instructions

We guarantee trouble-free function and operational reliability only

if original accessories and spare parts intended for the appliance

are used.

7.2 Instructions, standards and regulations

Note

Observe all applicable national and regional regulations

and instructions.

- The operating and installation instructions of the instantane-

ous water heater must be observed during installation and

operation.

- All electrical connection and installation work must be car-

ried out in accordance with VDE regulations (0100) [or local

regulations], the regulations of your local power supply utili-

ty and relevant national and local regulations.

8. Preparation

To connect the instantaneous water heater to the wireless pro-

gramming unit,

remote control must be installed.

If the instantaneous water heater is to be operated via several

wireless programming units, up to 5 additional FFB 2 wireless pro-

gramming units can be paired with the installed receiver module.

Installation of the receiver module and/or commissioning of FFB2

must be carried out by a contractor in compliance with these

installation instructions.

9. Installation

Observe the operating and installation instructions for the instan-

taneous water heater.

9.1 FFB1

To commission FFB1, the receiver module must be ﬁtted in the

instantaneous water heater. After that, it can be controlled im-

mediately via the wireless programming unit.

To install the receiver module in the instantaneous water heater,

proceed as follows:

 Isolate the instantaneous water heater from the power

supply;

 Remove the instantaneous water heater cover as described in

the appliance installation instructions;

that the plug-in cable of the receiver module is placed over

the existing cable in the "X1" slot.

CDE, FDE

 The set value transducer line must be removed and secured

in the appliance cover.

9.2 Completing the installation

 Fit the instantaneous water heater cover and connect the

instantaneous water heater to the power supply (observe the

instantaneous water heater installation instructions).

For FFB1, no commissioning-related measures are required. The

wireless remote control works immediately after installation of

the receiver module.

9.3 FFB2

To activate an FFB2 wireless programming unit, its transmitter

code must be transmitted to the receiver module once for the

initial start-up.

When commissioning FFB2 programming units, the instantaneous

water heater must be ready for operation. The following work

must be done when the appliance is live. After opening the ap-

pliance cover, be aware of live parts.

Initial start-up

 Remove the instantaneous water heater appliance cover

as described in the instantaneous water heater installation

instructions.

 Activate learning mode by pressing the button in the receiver

module. For this purpose, with DHE .. SL the module must be

removed from the slot. The LED in the receiver module lights

up to indicate that learning mode is active.

If no signal is received for 30 seconds, the receiver module

automatically exits learning mode and the LED goes out.

 During learning mode, press any button on the new wireless

programming unit. As conﬁrmation of the learning process,

the LED ﬂashes several times then goes off.

 Checking option: a set value adjustment via the wireless

programming unit is conﬁrmed if the LED ﬂashes twice; if

the LED ﬂashes only once, the learning process must be

repeated.

 Reﬁt the instantaneous water heater cover and, if necessary,

the receiver module (observe the instantaneous water heater

installation instructions).

Other wireless programming units are put into operation in the

same way.

If several wireless programming units are being paired in turn,

the button for activating learning mode in the receiver module

needs to be pressed again for each wireless programming unit.

10. Unpairing a wireless programming

unit

If a wireless programming unit is removed from an existing system

(an instantaneous water heater with, for example, two wireless

programming units), the following procedure is required for safety

reasons:

 with the wireless programming unit remaining in the system,

repeat the pairing process on the instantaneous water heater

6x, see Initial start-up (in this way the individual transmitter

code of the wireless programming unit to be deactivated is

deleted in the receiver module);

 if there are several remaining wireless programming units,

each one must be paired again.

11. Deactivation of the acoustic

reception signal

If the customer wishes to deactivate the acoustic signal, open the

receiver module and remove the plug. If the signal is to be reac-

tivated later, only the plug has to be plugged in again.

La temperatura se puede ajustar entre 30 °C y 60 °C, en

incrementos de 0,5°C.

Cambiar la pila

Debido a que cada control remoto cuenta con un código emisor

individual, cada FFB 2 debe registrarse primero en el módulo

receptor (véase Primera puesta en marcha del FFB 2).

En el FFB1, el código emisor del control remoto ya está registrado.

5. Operación

El control remoto se encuentra normalmente en modo de ahorro

de energía (pantalla apagada). Al pulsar brevemente cualquier

botón se activa el control. Si durante 20 segundos no se pulsa

ningún botón en estado activo, el control se vuelve a poner auto-

máticamente en modo de ahorro de energía.

Si la activación del control se hace mediante el botón

- o

-, se mostrará el último valor ajustado y se aplicará al calentador

instantáneo. Después de esto, la temperatura de referencia se

puede modiﬁcar pulsando una vez los botones - en pasos

de 0,5 °C o manteniendo pulsado el botón con un avance o re-

troceso rápidos.

Al realizar la activación pulsando los botones de memoria

se muestra y aplica el valor correspondiente de la memoria.

De esta forma, es posible la selección sencilla y rápida de una

temperatura usada con frecuencia.

Cada modiﬁcación de valores aceptada por el calentador instantá-

neo se conﬁrma mediante una señal acústica (pitido) del módulo

receptor integrado en el calentador instantáneo. Esta señal puede

ser desactivada por un técnico instalador si el cliente así lo desea.

5.1 Asignación de los botones de memoria

Para modiﬁcar la asignación de los botones de memoria, el valor

deseado se debe ajustar en la pantalla y luego pulsar el botón de

memoria correspondiente durante unos 3 segundos. El parpadeo

momentáneo de la indicación conﬁrma que la temperatura se ha

guardado.

Si se usan varios controles remotos, cada control tiene dos lugares

de almacenamiento propios. De esta forma,

en cada control

remoto y en el calentador instantáneo se pueden ajustar de forma

completamente individual.

5.2 Protección dinámica antiescaldamiento

Al usar varios controles remotos, el control que emitió primero

recibe una prioridad sobre los valores máximos de temperatura

que se pueden ajustar. La prioridad es de 2 minutos o hasta 2

minutos tras el ﬁnal de la dispensación actual, y después se des-

activa automáticamente.

Durante esta prioridad, los demás controles remotos solo pue-

den disminuir la temperatura. Si la temperatura se disminuye

a ≤43°C, se activa la protección dinámica antiescaldamiento,

es decir, para esta dispensación ningún control remoto puede

aumentar la temperatura por encima de 43 °C. Ejemplo: Si en un

control remoto se muestra en la pantalla una temperatura de, por

ejemplo, 55°C y se aplica al calentador instantáneo, la tempera-

tura del agua solo se eleva a 43°C en el calentador instantáneo.

Si se usan al mismo tiempo varios controles remotos, la tem-

peratura real ajustada puede variar de lo que se muestra en el

control remoto. Solo el control remoto activo actualmente muestra

el valor actual.

Con temperaturas de salida mayores a 43 °C existe peligro de

escaldamiento.

5.3 Manejo del aparato

DHE .. SL(i) electronic comfort

También es posible manejar el calentador instantáneo de la mane-

ra habitual, la unidad de mando interna está integrada completa-

mente en el concepto de la protección dinámica antiescaldamiento

(véase el capítulo "Protección dinámica antiescaldamiento").

DHE electronic comfort

También es posible manejar el calentador instantáneo de la ma-

nera habitual. Pero básicamente, los controles remotos tienen

preferencia.

Si se realiza un ajuste de un valor a distancia, entonces la unidad

de mando interna se bloquea durante la dispensación actual. 2

minutos tras ﬁnalizar la dispensación, la unidad de mando del

DHE se libera nuevamente. Para poder ajustar la temperatura

de la dispensación en la unidad de mando del DHE e impedir el

ajuste a distancia, entonces se tiene que pulsar el selector de

temperatura del DHE antes de la dispensación. 5 minutos tras

ﬁnalizar la dispensación se libera automáticamente este bloqueo

(si se pulsa el selector antes de este tiempo también se puede

liberar el bloqueo).

DEL .. SL(i) electronic LCD

La unidad de mando del calentador instantáneo muestra solo la

temperatura ajustada en el FFB, no se puede realizar un ajuste.

CDE/FDE ..

La unidad de mando del calentador instantáneo no está habilitada.

5.4 Cambiar la pila

El control remoto se alimenta mediante 2 pilas de litio (tipo CR2032

o CR2025). Si es necesario remplazar la pila, aparece el símbolo

en la pantalla.

Daños materiales

 Es imprescindible retirar las pilas usadas.

No nos haremos responsables de los daños causados por

pilas que pierden líquido.

 Para cambiar las pilas se debe desenroscar la parte inferior

de la carcasa y remplazar ambas pilas en el soporte. Tenga

en cuenta la polaridad correcta de las pilas (+ hacia arriba).

Utilice siempre el mismo tipo de pilas y cámbielas de dos en

dos.

Durante el cambio de las pilas se conservan los valores guardados

para los botones

.

Eliminación de las pilas

No elimine las pilas usadas junto con la basura domésti-

ca. Las pilas usadas pueden contener sustancias nocivas

que pueden dañar el medio ambiente y la salud. Las pilas

usadas deben devolverse a un comercio o a un punto de

recogida de sustancias especiales.

Daños materiales

 Durante el montaje de la parte inferior de la car-

casa, se debe asegurar que la junta esté colocada

correctamente en la parte superior de la carcasa a

ﬁn de que se pueda garantizar la hermeticidad de la

unidad de mando.

5.5 Indicaciones respecto a la trayectoria de

transmisión

Las condiciones particulares en algunos recintos pueden hacer que

se debilite la dispersión de las ondas de radio. En estos casos, se

puede ver reducido el alcance del control remoto.

Debido a que el rango de frecuencia de 433MHz está disponible

libremente también para otras aplicaciones (termostatos inalám-

bricos, estaciones meteorológicas con transferencia por radio,

auriculares inalámbricos, etc.), se puede producir una interfe-

rencia en la trayectoria de transmisión al calentador instantáneo

si coinciden varias emisiones. En este caso no existe riesgo de

que se haga una modiﬁcación no deseada de la temperatura de

referencia, pero el valor de temperatura de referencia enviado

podría no ser reconocido por el receptor. En estos casos es nece-

sario repetir el ajuste.

5.6 Soporte de pared

El soporte de pared que se suministra se puede instalar en cual-

quier lugar para colocar el control remoto según lo desee el usua-

rio.

6. Cuidados

Utilice un paño húmedo para limpiar las piezas. No utilice limpia-

dores abrasivos ni disolventes.

INSTALACIóN

7. Seguridad

La instalación, la puesta en marcha y el mantenimiento y repa-

ración del aparato deben ser realizados exclusivamente por un

profesional técnico especializado.

7.1 Instrucciones generales de seguridad

Solo garantizamos un nivel óptimo de funcionalidad y de seguri-

dad y ﬁabilidad de funcionamiento si se utilizan accesorios y piezas

de repuesto originales especíﬁcos para el aparato.

7.2 Reglamentos, normas y disposiciones

Nota

Observe todos los reglamentos y disposiciones nacionales

y regionales.

- Siga las instrucciones de utilización y de instalación del ca-

lentador instantáneo durante su instalación y uso.

- Todos los trabajos de conexión e instalación eléctricas de-

berán realizarse de acuerdo con las disposiciones de la

Asociación Electrotécnica Alemana (0100), las disposiciones

de la empresa que suministra la energía, así como las leyes

nacionales y regionales correspondientes.

8. Preparativos

Para establecer una conexión entre el calentador instantáneo y el

control remoto

, primero se debe instalar el módulo receptor

del FFB.

Si el calentador instantáneo se va a controlar mediante varios

controles remotos, se pueden registrar hasta 5 controles FFB 2

adicionales en el módulo receptor integrado.

La incorporación del módulo receptor y/o la primera puesta en

marcha del FFB 2 las debe realizar un técnico instalador siguiendo

estas instrucciones de instalación.

9. Montaje

¡Siga las instrucciones de utilización y de instalación del calen-

tador instantáneo!

9.1 FFB1

Para la puesta en marcha del FFB1 se debe incorporar el módulo

receptor en el calentador instantáneo. Tras esto es posible con-

trolarlo inmediatamente mediante el control remoto.

Para la incorporación del módulo receptor en el calentador ins-

tantáneo se debe proceder como se indica a continuación:

 Cortar el suministro de energía al calentador instantáneo.

 Retirar la tapa del calentador instantáneo como se describe

en las instrucciones de instalación del aparato.
