AUTO POWER

Auto Power Link:Synchronizesthe Soundbar to a connected Optical

source viathe Optical jack so it turns on automatically when you turn

on your TV_

(Auto Power Link : Default OFF,ON-Anynet+ / OFF@OWERLINKor

OFF-Anynet+ / ON@OWERLINK). The Anynet+ function letsyou

control the Soundbar with the remote from an Anynet+ compatible

CONNECTING THE W_RELESS SUBWOOFER

The Subwoofer's linking lD is preset at the factory and the main unit and subwoofer should link (connect

wirelessly) automatically when the main unit and subwoofer are turned on_ifthe Link indicator ( _ ) does not

light when the main unit and subwoofer areturned on, please set the lDby following the procedure below_

1. Connect the TV supporting ARCto the Soundbar with an HDMI cable_

2. Turn on the TV,and turn on the SoundbaPs Anynet+_

3. Pressthe (_) button on the main unit's top panel or the _ (SOURCE)button on the remote control

to selectthe DiN mode_

o If the HDMI cable does not support ARCfeature, ARCmay not work properly_

To turn off the ARCfunction, turn Anynet+ of£

YOucan connect a Btuetooth device to the Soundbar and enjoy music with high quality stereo sound, all

without wires!

To connect the Soundbar to a Bluetooth device

Check if the Btuetooth device supports the Btuetooth compliant stereo headset function.

o Connect

!. Pressthe (_) button on the main unit's top

panel or the ,,,_ (SOURCE)button on the

remote control to select the tT mode.

oYOuwilt see IT READYon the front display

of the 5oundbar.

2. Selectthe Btuetooth menu on the Btuetooth

device you want to connect. (Refer to the

Btuetooth device's usermanual.)

S. Selectthe Stereo headset menu on the Btuetooth

device.

4. Select "[Samsung] SoundbarJ-Sedes" from the

list.

_When the Soundbar isconnected to the

Btuetooth device, it wilt display [Btuetooth

• The device name can onty be displayedin

name isnot in English.

elf the Btuetooth device has failed to pair with

the Soundbar, delete the previous "[Samsung]

Soundbar J-Series"found by the Btuetooth

device and have it searchfor the Soundbar

again.

5. Playmusic on the connected device.

oYbu can listen to the music playing on the

connected Btuetooth device over the Soundbar.

tn BTmode, the PbyiPauseiNextiPrev functions

are not available. However, these functions are

available in Btuetooth devicessupposing

AVRCR

ttuetooth device

tfasked for PINcode when connecting a

Bluetooth device, enter (0000>.

Only one Btuetooth device canbe paired

at a time.

TheI£uetooth connection wil be terminated

when you turn the SoundbarofL

The Soundbar may not perform Btuetooth

search or connection correctly under the

following circumstances:

- tf there isa strong electrical field around

the Soundbar.

IfseveralSluetooth devicesare

simultaneouslypairedwith the Soundbar.

- tf the Btuetooth device is turned off,

not in place, or malfunctions.

- Note that such devicesas microwave

ovens,wireless LANadaptors,

fluorescent lights, and gas stoves use

the same frequency range as the

BhJetooth device, which can cause

electric interference.

o Connect only to a Btuetooth device that

suppo_s the A2DP (AV) function.

You cannot connect the Soundbar to a

BhJetoothdevice that suppo_s onty the HF

Soundbar J-Series"from the list will

automatically change to tT mode.

Bluetooth POWER on (Bluetooth POWER)

When the Btuetooth Power On function ison and the Soundbar isturned off, if a previously paired Btuetooth

device tries to pair with the Soundba_ the Soundbar turns on automatically,

!. Pressthe Btuetooth POWERon the remote while the Soundbar is turned on,

2. ON-Btuetooth POWERappears on the Soundbar's display,

To disconnect the Bluetooth device from the Soundbar

You can disconnect the BhJetooth device from the Soundbar, For instructions, seethe BhJetooth device's user

manual,

When the Soundbar is disconnected from the BhJetooth device, the Soundbar wit1display

STDBSCONNECTEDon the front display,

To disconnect the Soundbar from the Bluetooth device

Pressthe _ (SOURCE)button on the remote control or the (_) button on the product's top panel to

switch from BTto another mode or turn off the Soundbar,

The connected BhJetoothdevice wilt wait a certain amount of time for a response from the Soundbar

before terminating the connection, (Disconnection time may differ, depending on the BhJetooth device)

tn Btuetooth connection mode, the Btuetooth connection wilt be lost if the distance between the

Soundbar and the BhJetooth device exceeds t6,25 ft, (Sm),

The Soundbar automatically turns off after 25 mimJtes inthe Readystate,
