2 Description and Function

Thisproductisaninfraredmotionsensorforindoorsandis

speciedasinstallationmaterial.Itreactstoheatradiation

(infraredradiation)ofmovingobjectsthatenterthedetection

areaofthesensor,eg.peopleandanimals,etc.Thesensor

must„see“theareawhichismonitored.Thermalradiation

propagatesinastraightline,butisstoppedbyglassorother

solidobjects.

Entering the detection area of the sensor switches the connec-

tedelectricalconsumeronandaftera(adjustable)timeoffagain

automatically.Abuilt-inphotocellpreventsworkingofthemotion

sensorduringsunlight.Inaddition,theambientbrightnesscan

beadjustedbyaregulator.

Depending on the design of your motion sensor, it may only have

some of the following options:

SLIDESWITCH: Select between

 adjustment(PIR).

OFF:Allfunctionsareoff.

PIR: Distanceadjustmentisactivated.

PIR+MIC: Distanceadjustmentandmicrophoneare 

activatedinaddition.
