- This product is designed for household use only -
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precauons should always be followed,
including the following:
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
3. To protect against electrical shock and personal injury, do not immerse this appliance,
including cord and plug, in water or other liquid.
4. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilies, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instrucon concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
5. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
6. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
7. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or aer the appliance
malfuncons or has been damaged in any manner. To avoid hazards, return appliance to
NESCO
®
Factory Service Department for examinaon, repair or adjustment.
8. The use of aachments not recommended by the manufacturer may cause a risk of
injury to persons.
9. Do not use outdoors.
10. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
11. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electrical burner or in a heated oven.
12. Do not use appliance for other than its intended use, as described in this manual.
13. Operate appliance only when all parts are fully engaged and secured.
14. Be sure the motor stops completely and power cord is removed from electrical outlet
before pung on or taking o any aachments.
15. Avoid contact with moving parts.
16. Keep hands, hair, clothing, as well as spatulas and other utensils away from beaters and
dough hooks during operaon to reduce the risk of injury to persons, and/or damage to
the mixer.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Polarized Plug: This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To
reduce risk of electric shock, plug is intended to t into polarized outlet only one way. If
the plug does not t fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it sll does not t, contact a
qualied electrician. Do not try to modify the plug in any way.
Short Cord Instrucons: A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulng
from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Extension cords may be used
if care is exercised in their use. If an extension cord is used, the marked electrical rang of
the cord should be at least as great as the electrical rang of the appliance. The longer cord
should be arranged so that it will not drape over the tabletop where it can be pulled on by
children or tripped over unintenonally.

BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Read and understand all instrucons and keep for future reference.
2. Remove all packaging and labels.
3. Clean all parts, except Main Body, following the instrucons in the ‘Care and Cleaning’ secon
.
4. Wipe the Main Body with a damp cloth. WARNING: TO REDUCE RISK OF SHOCK HAZARD,
NEVER IMMERSE THE MAIN BODY IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
OPERATION
1. Use the appliance while working on a at and stable surface.
2. Unplug the mixer from the wall outlet before inserng or removing Beaters.
3. Insert Beater by aligning the notch on the Beater with the slot in the mixer. Push to lock
into place. Repeat with the other Beater.
4. Plug into a 120 volt A.C. wall outlet.
5. Press the Power Buon and the display will start to ash. When the Power Buon is
pressed, the default speed seng will be at ‘0’.
6. Press the ‘+’ buon to increase the speed and the mer will start to count the mixing
me. There is a choice of 16 speed sengs.
7. Press the Power Buon to turn o the Mixer and remove cord from outlet.
8. To remove the Beaters, press the Eject buon. NOTE: Do not press the Eject Buon while
the Beaters are moving or during use.

HINTS
1. Never poke any kitchen utensils such as spoons, knives, etc. into the rotang Beaters.
2. Do not reach into the mixing bowl while Beaters are rotang.
3. The Hand Mixer is designed for short-me operaon, a maximum of 10 minutes of
connuous mixing. Switch it o aer 10 minutes and allow the motor to cool for 30
minutes.
4. To avoid excessive spaering and our dusng, lower the Beaters fully into the ingredients
that are to be processed before turning the Mixer on and turn o before removing.
5. Start at the lowest seng to prevent the dry ingredients from dusng and the liquids
from spaering. You can vary the speed sengs while the hand mixer is in use.
6. Use a higher seng for heavier dough.
7. Aer 9 minutes 59 seconds the Timer goes back to ‘00’.
SUGGESTED SPEED SETTINGS:
Seng 1: To start mixing ingredients
Seng 2 & 3: Low speed - to mix dry ingredients, to fold in or blend ingredients
Seng 4: To mix liquid ingredients or when adding liquids to dry ingredients
Seng 5 & 6: Parcularly suited for dry ingredients
Seng 7: For the alternate addion of dry and liquid ingredients
Seng 9 & 10: Medium speed - to mix packaged cake mixes
Seng 11: To whip buer and sugar icings
Seng 12 & 13: To beat to a light uy consistency
Seng 14: To whip mashed potatoes
Seng 15: To whip cream
Seng 16: High speed – to whip egg whites
CARE AND CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Before cleaning the Hand Mixer, ensure the power cord is unplugged from the electrical
outlet.
2. Remove Beaters immediately aer use.
3. Wipe the outside area of the Hand Mixer with a damp cloth and dry with a so cloth.
4. Wipe excess food parcles from the power cord.
5. DO NOT immerse the Hand Mixer or power cord and plug in water or any other
liquid.
6. DO NOT use harsh detergents or abrasive cleansers on any parts of the appliance.
7. Wash the Beaters in warm soapy water or in the dishwasher.
8. Store the Hand Mixer in a dry accessible place.
9. DO NOT wind the power cord around the Hand Mixer body as the residual heat from the
motor may damage the cord.

ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
This appliance is warranted for one year from date of original purchase against defects in
material and workmanship. This warranty does not cover transportaon damage, misuse,
accident or similar incident. This warranty gives you specic legal rights and you may have
other rights, which vary from state to state. This product is intended for household use
only, not for commercial use. Warranty does not cover commercial use.

to interfere with the operaon of these safety features makes this warranty null and void.
In the event we receive an appliance for service that has been tampered with, we reserve
the right to restore it to its original state and charge for the repair.
For service in warranty - Defecve products may be returned, postage prepaid, with a
descripon of the defect to: The Metal Ware Corporaon, 1700 Monroe Street, Two Rivers,
Wisconsin 54241, for no-charge repair or replacement at our opon.
Must include proof of purchase or copy of original bill of sale when returning product for
warranty service.

before shipping.
For service in warranty, follow instrucons set forth in warranty. When ordering new
parts, make sure that you always menon the model number of the product.
Call us on our toll free number, 1-800-288-4545 and tell us about your problem.
If we instruct you to send all or part of your appliance to us for repair or replacement,
our Customer Sasfacon representave will provide a Return Authorizaon number
(this number noes our receiving department to expedite your repair). Pack your unit
carefully in a sturdy carton with sucient padding to prevent damage because any
damage caused in shipping is not covered by the warranty.
Print your name, address and Return Authorizaon number on the carton.
Write a leer explaining the problem. Include the following: your name, address and
telephone number and a copy of the original bill of sale.
Aach the sealed envelope containing the leer inside the carton. Insure the package
for the value of the NESCO
