compliance with the full (official) USB 1.1/2.0 standards.
Important:
 Please do not use an USB extension cable to connect your USB flash drive to the USB port of this
unit. Such cables can pick up additional interference, which can corrupt the data flow, preventing
normal operation and usage of the USB port. Always connect your USB flash drive directly to the
USB port without any USB extension cables.
 The reading time for USB-drive or SD-card varies depending on the speed of the memory device and

Self Cleaning System
To prevent major particles of dust accumulation on the CD mechanism, the motorized deck has special
vibration motion to avoid such accumulation. This severs to keep the CD mechanism clean, without the
need of additional external cleaning devices, under normal circumstances.
Anti-skip (antishock) function (ESP)
 This unit has a built-in digital anti-skip function, which prevents CD skipping when the unit is
physically moved or subjected to vibrations for up to 20 seconds when playing MP3 discs.
 Whenever any MP3 disc is played, during the first 15 (approx.) seconds the anti-skip memory is
being filled up (but is not yet full). The anti-shock protection is already active (in use) at this time, but
not yet to the maximum 20 seconds capacity.
 Once the anti-shock memory is full, the unit provides anti-skip protection for 20 seconds of vibration.
 Please note that the anti-skip function only protects against normal vibration or minor movement.
Severe or strong shocks/vibrations to the unit may still cause skipping.
Using the audio line in connection (AUX input)
 You can connect the audio output of an external device such as an MP3 player to this unit, to listen to
the sound of that device through the high quality amplifier of this music system.
 To connect the external device, please use a standard RCA cable to connect the audio line out of the
device (left and right channels) to the AUX line RCA jacks (left and right) on the side panel of this
unit.
 Press AUX button on the unit to switch on the AUX mode.
 Make sure that the speakers are connected to the main unit.
 Switch on the power of the main unit and the external device.
 Start playback of the external device and adjust the volume control of the main unit to the desired
level.
 Remember to switch off the power of the music system (main unit) when you are finished using the
external device.

Connecting an external powered subwoofer
 This unit has a built in subwoofer connection which can be connected to any standard powered
subwoofer (not included).
 By connecting to a powered subwoofer, the low frequency (bass sound) can be strongly enhanced to
provide a much richer and deeper sound to your music.
 To use this facility, simply connect any standard powered subwoofer (easily available from most
music equipment shops) using the RCA jack on the rear panel of the main unit.
 Switch on the subwoofer.
 Play any music source (CD or radio or AUX) as usual. You will immediately notice the deeper
sound.
 Please note that the speakers should be connected as usual to the main unit, when using a subwoofer.
 Please note that “passive” (non-powered) subwoofers will not work with this unit.

Protect the disc
1. To keep the disc clean, please don't touch the disc surface when you are holding it. You should hold
the edge.
2. If the disc is dirty, it will affect the sound quality. Please use the clean and soft cloth to wipe the disc
from inside to outside. Don't wipe the disc at circumference direction.
3. Don’t stick paper on the disc.
4. Dont place discs in direct sunlight or near or on heat sources.
5. After you have finished with the disc, please place it back in its original case. To avoid warping or
damage, do not stack discs.
6. Don’t play the disc, which has flaw or deformation, in case of damaging this unit.
7. Clean your discs using only a soft dry cloth. Do not use any chemicals such as benzine, thinner,
antistatic or record sprays as these can damage the disc surface.
