El Micrófono Ambiental ME-PS2 está diseñado para la captación y grabación de
audio en pequeñas salas de audiencias de juzgados y centros penitenciarios, podios
en salas de conferencias y ayuntamientos, paneles de control en salas de seguridad,
áreas con acceso controlado, púlpitos de servicios religiosos, etc.
Incorpora un micrófono electret de gran sensibilidad con respuesta polar
omnidireccional, y un módulo preamplificador.
Dispone de salida balanceada con tres niveles nominales seleccionables: −60
dBu, −30 dBu y 0 dBu.
Incorpora un potenciómetro de volumen de salida por si fuera necesario llevar a cabo un ajuste fino de sensibilidad.
Funciona con 24 Vcc que puede recibir a través del conector RJ o mediante el ADAPTADOR PC.
La calidad resultante del sonido capturado con un micrófono ambiental, depende mucho de la ubicación física del mismo, y de la
acústica de la sala donde se instala.
El principal criterio de ubicación del micrófono debe ser siempre el de acercarlo lo más posible a la zona donde va a tener lugar la
locución o conversaciones a capturar o grabar. El objetivo es el de distanciar al máximo la señal y el ruido ambiente. A mayor
distancia entre el micrófono y la fuente sonora, mayor es la amplificación que requiere el preamplificador, aumentando no sólo el
volumen de la voz sino también el del ruido ambiente.
El micrófono debe quedar orientado hacia el frente de la persona o grupo de debate y nunca por encima o detrás de las cabezas.
Dependiendo de la acústica de la sala, la distancia de captación óptima está entre los 70 cm y 1,5 m. Distancias superiores a los
3 m NO proporcionan resultados satisfactorios y el sonido obtenido puede resultar confuso y poco inteligible, especialmente en
salas reverberantes.
Hay que alejarlo al máximo de las numerosas fuentes de ruido acústico ambiental que existen en cualquier estancia, incluso
aquellas que en apariencia son silenciosas.
Debe evitarse la proximidad del micrófono a las salidas de aire acondicionado, los ventiladores de ordenador, las vibraciones
mecánicas producidas por reactancias de fluorescentes, transformadores de lámparas halógenas, extractores de humos, etc.
Tampoco debe instalarse en la proximidad de altavoces de megafonía o ambientación musical.

El ADAPTADOR PC facilita la conexión del micrófono a equipos de audio genéricos.
Dispone de una entrada RJ-45 Hembra para conectar al módulo preamplificador.
Incorpora un Jack Hembra de alimentación para el suministro de 24 Vcc 750 mA
desde un alimentador externo. No importa la polaridad del Jack, el adaptador la
corrige de modo automático.
Dispone de un Jack Estéreo de salida de audio (3,5 mm Ø), en el que está disponible la señal de audio captada por el micro.
La salida de audio proporciona una señal mono no-balanceada por la punta y el anillo de un Jack estéreo. La conexión de audio

The resulting sound quality of the audio captured with and environmental microphone depends on the physical location, and the
acoustics of the room where it is installed.
The microphone placement should always be the closer as possible to the area where the conversations to capture will take place
since the main purpose is to separate the signal from the background noise. The greater the distance between the microphone and
the sound source is, the greater amplification is required, increasing not only the volume of the voice but also the ambient noise.
The microphone must be oriented towards the front of the speaker or group discussion and not above or behind the heads.
Depending on the room acoustics, the optimal capture distance is between 70 cm and 1.5 m. Distances over 3 m do not provide
satisfactory results and the obtained sound can be confusing and unintelligible, especially in reverberant rooms.
Move the equipment away from any noise sources, even those that are apparently silent.
Avoid installing the microphone near the outputs of air conditioning, computer fans, mechanical vibrations produced by
fluorescent ballasts or halogen lamps transformers, PA speakers or background music, etc.

ENVIRONMENTAL MICROPHONE
PC adapter allows the microphone connection to generic audio equipments.
