Q: Will this device work for birds nesting under a canopy?

A: Once a bird has already nested in a specific location it will push through

most of our deterrents. Sound and visual deterrents are designed to agitate

the birds enough to make sure they don't start nesting. We have an entirely

new situation once they have nested. The best solution for nesting is

cleaning it out and excluding them from the area with bird netting once they

have vacated the nest.

Q: What is the range of the sound?

The range of the Bird Chase Super Sonic will be affected by the area it is

placed in. For example, a heavy wooded area would have a smaller range

than a unit that is next to a body of water as sound carries further. A

general rule of thumb is around 1 acre for each unit.

Q: Does this device have to be plugged in?

Yes, the Bird Chase Supersonic comes with an adaptor that must be

plugged in. However, the Solar Bird Chase Supersonic is powered by

sunlight and doesn’t require an electrical outlet.
