INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove the Hard Drives from the SBB41 unit and carefully set them aside. If
the drive is not numbered make careful note of which drive came from which
bay. They will need to be in the same bay in the new SBB41
2. Remove the screws securing the lid of the NVR.
3. Once all the screws are removed lift the back of the lid and remove it from
the chassis.
4. Below is a view of the back of the SBB41 from inside the NVR chassis. Here
you can remove the Sata cables and the power cables from the SBB41. Be
sure to take particular note which Sata cable came from which drive bay.
They will need to be connected back to the same drive in the new SBB41.
5. Remove the 18 screws that secure the top bracket. 6 screws along the sides
and 12 on the top surface. These screws on the top simultaneously secure
the top bracket and the SBB41 to the chassis.
It is paramount you properly ground yourself. Use an anti static strap to
ensure you stay grounded throughout the procedure.

and allow it to be carefully lifted out afterward.
7. As long as the Sata and Power cables were removed as described in step 3
the SBB41 case can be carefully lifted out of the chassis.
8. Once the case containing the SBB41 is out of the chassis turn it on its side
and remove the screws securing it to the case. There are 6 screws on each
side of the case. Slide the SBB41 out of the case.
9. Place the new unit into the frame. Be sure to set in as shown with the Sata
and Power connectors on the right side of the fan and the frame.
