18 AUTOMATIC STORING, PRESET SCANNING, & MP3 TRACK SEARCH
1) Automatic Storing:
In radio mode, press and hold the APS 18 button for more than 2 seconds to
activate the automatic storing function. Once activated, the unit starts searching
for first 6 strong signaled stations and stores them into the preset memory.
It ll then briefly display each preset stations before tuning to preset station
number 1.

3) MP3 Track Search:
In MP3 mode, you can access 3 different types of track search modes for MP3
titles- Track Number Search, First Character Search, and Folder Search.
a) The Track Number Search will allow you to quickly find a specific MP3 title
by number. To access this feature, press the APS 18 button once and MP3
T000 will be displayed with the ones digit 0 flashing. Rotate the VOL
5 knob to select and enter the number at the flashing digit then press the
SEL 11 button to confirm.
Then the 0 on the tens digit will be flashing for you to choose using the VOL
5 knob followed by the SEL 11 button as confirmation.
Lastly, the 0 on the hundreds digit will be flashing for you to choose using
the VOL 5 knob followed by the SEL 11 button as confirmation. After pushing
the last SEL 11 button, the unit will find and play the entered track number.
b) The First Character Search will allow you to quickly find an MP3 title by name.
To access this feature, press the APS 18 button twice and A-- will be dis-
played followed by few beginning letters of the first title beginning with the
letter A . If there are no titles beginning with the letter A , the display
will show A--NONE . Then use the VOL 5 knob to go through the letters
in the order of A~Z and 0~9. If there are more than one title starting with a
same letter, you can use the 8 or 9 buttons to select the title. Once the
desired MP3 title is found, press the SEL 11 button to play the selected title.
c) The Folder Search will allow you to quickly find an MP3 title under a specific
group Folder. To find the Folders and the titles underneath, press the APS 18
button three times to display the first folder and use VOL 5 knob to search and
select a desired Folder (If there are no root Folder in the disc, the LCD will
display ROOT ) Once the Folder has been selected, use the 8 or 9
buttons to select the title and finally press the SEL 11 button to play it.
2) Preset Scanning:
In radio mode, press the APS 18 button momentarily to activate the preset
scanning function. Once activated, the unit starts scanning all 6 preset memory
stations for few seconds at a time while the preset memory number flashes on
the LCD. It ll then briefly display each preset stations before tuning to preset
station number 1. When wish to listen to one of the preset stations during the
scan, press the APS 18 button again while that station is being scanned.
