+12V Power
Connect the +12V terminal of the amplier to the positive (+) terminal of the battery using the same diameter
cable as the ground cable, making sure you install a in-line fuse holder, approximately 300 or 400 mm.

Disconnect the battery and connect the GND (ground) terminal to the cars chassis.
Keep this cable as short as possible (not longer than 20 inches or less).
Making sure that the connection with the chassis is rust free and clear of paint or grime.
REMOTE
Connect the REM terminal of the amplier to the power antenna terminal in the car ignition switch
using 12 or 14 ga. electrical wire.
Caution
This amplier is not supplied with a internal fuse.
Make sure you install a in-line fuse holder
from the postitive (+) terminal of battery.
Recommend 800 Ampere fuse.

When in strapped mode connection, XS-8K & XS-8X the minimum working impedance
is 2 Ohms. Any impedance (load) lower than 2 Ohms can damage the ampliers.
When wiring two ampliers to a single subwoofer, please make sure power handling capabilities will
not be exceeded.

prevent any damages from misuse or faulty conditions.
If XS-8K & XS-8X sense excessive heat, short circuited speakers DC, or voltage the protection indicator
to check the problem, you should turn all levels down
for wiring mistakes or short.
If XS-8K & XS-8X shut down due to excessive heat, they will remain in thermal protection until amplier reaches
normal operating temperature. Before removing your amplier, refer to the list below and follow the sugguested
proceedures.
AMPLIFIER SHUT DOWN ( PROTECTION )
XS-8K & XS-8X have a minimum working impedance of 1ohm as single unit. Strapped connection is 2 ohm
Check speaker wiring and reverse polarity.
DISTORTION & NOISE
Check all ground connections of all other audio equipment.
POOR BASS RESPONSE
NO OUTPUT
or no turn-on voltage, there is no sound.
Check remote turn-on voltage at amplier and headunit, when remote turn-on voltage is low
Check fuses at the battery side or external fuses and all wire connections.
Check RCA Input is properly connected.
Please check POWER, GND and REMOTE wire connection and other wires properly connected.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
When DC is over 4V at input, try by replacing head-unit or source.
XS-8K voltage protection at low and high is 8.5V ~ 16V, XS-8X is 8.5V ~ 18V.
Make sure Chassis and Remote use same GROUND.
on after it cools down. Please install amplier in a better ventilated area.
