3.2. Structure – basic components
The π series induction boiler is an electromagnetic device.
The basis of the π series boiler design in the three-phase dry
transformer with a shorted secondary winding. The stainless
steel exchanger serves as a secondary winding in this structure.
It allows surface load of O ≤ 3 W/cm2. The exchanger is made
of high grade acid-resistant steel suitable for contact with food
products.
In the heating process, water undergoes electromagnetic
conditioning.

3.3. Hydraulic connection
Hydraulic connections must be installed by properly au-
thorised persons. The hydraulic system should be designed
according to the standards: PN-B-02414:1999 – closed
system and PN-91/B-02413 – open system. The device
cannot be installed in areas where temperature may fall
below 0°C, unless a non-freezing uid is used as the heat-
ing agent. The induction boiler connection with the central
heating system and the domestic hot water system shall
be made using metal pipes.
3.4. Electrical connection
Electrical connections must be installed by properly
authorised persons. The electrical system must be
equipped with residual current protective devices
and measures to ensure power supply disconnec-
tion, in which the gap between all poles contacts is
no less than 3 mm. The main switch must be accessi-
ble at all times. Circular pump and temperature sen-
sor wires should end with appropriate plugs and be
connected with proper sockets on the boiler casing.

4. USER MANUAL
Before boiler installation, check the requirements and guidelines
included in the user manual. That document must be provided
by the distributor or tters of the π series induction boiler. Direct
contact with manufacturer’s REPRESENTATIVES performing war-
ranty service is recommended.
4.1. Technical data
The π series induction boilers are suitable for low-temperature
central heating water systems, with maximum operation tem-
perature up to 90°C, constructed with steel, copper, polyeth-
ylene, polypropylene, CPVC and other pipes, using all types of
radiators: cast-iron, steel (plate, bathroom-type, decorative),
copper (bathroom and convection type), aluminium, oor-,
wall- and ceiling-mounted as well as heaters and air curtains.
These induction boilers can operate with all central heating boil-
ers (connected in series or parallel, as a major, auxiliary or sup-
porting device), water storage heaters, tankless water heaters,
buer tanks, etc. They operate in closed or open heating systems
with forced circulation. The π series induction boiler is a patented
design. Basic technical data are specied in section 3.1.
4.2. Boiler structure description
The π series induction boiler is an electromagnetic device. Ther-
mal energy is generated by the electromagnetic eld directly in
the heating chamber, situated on the transformer columns. This
solution allows to reduce electromagnetic eld loss signicantly.
The chamber is made of high grade acid-resistant steel suitable
for contact with food products. The induction boiler is produced
with use of modern materials and most recent technological
solutions, which extends the service life of the boiler up to 50
years. The basis of the π series boiler design is the three-phase
dry transformer with a shorted secondary winding. The second-
ary winding in this structure serves as the heating chamber. All
thermal power generated in the heating chamber is transferred
to the circulating water. The structure of the heating chamber
ensures surface thermal load of O ≤ 3 W/cm2.

5. TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
Boilers may be transported horizontally using roofed vehicles.
During the transport, boilers must be xed with equipment
preventing tipping over and mechanical damage. The boilers
may be stored in dry warehouses, where no chemically active
substances are present.
6. BOILER INSTALLATION
The boiler may be installed in any room that meets the basic re-
quirements for residential, warehousing, production spaces, etc.
In place of boiler installation, the oor must be at and even. The
boiler may also be installed on a reinforced concrete pedestal.
Minimum distance from the walls: 20 cm. Height of the room
in which the boiler will be installed shall not be lower than
190 cm. The room should be equipped with a ventilation duct.
Boiler must be connected to the heating system only by qual-
ied tters, knowing all requirements and installation instruc-
tions for the π series boilers and granting warranty on the works
performed. Electrical and hydraulic connections must be per-
formed by properly authorised persons.
7. CONTROLLER
7.1. Safety instructions
Before installation of the controller, read carefully the oper-
ation manual.
The controller may be used only according to its purpose.
All connection works may be performed with power supply
disconnected. Ensure that electric cables are not powered.
Electrical connection and installation works should be per-
formed only by properly qualied and authorised personnel,
in accordance with the valid regulations and standards.
Do not install or use the controller if the casing is damaged.
Electrical system in which the controller operates must be
protected with a fuse suitable for the occurring load.
The controller is not a safety device.
The controller must not be used as the only protection
against excessive increase of boiler temperature. Additional
protective devices must be used, e.g. STB.
7.2. Disposal of electric and electronic equipment
To protect the natural environment and human health, ensure
reuse and recycling of used electric and electronic equipment.
Disposal of devices marked with this symbol with house-
hold waste is prohibited. This product must be delivered to a
local recycling point. Contact proper local authorities for more
information.

8. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Do not activate the boiler without water.
Do not increase pressure in the system above the specied
standard value.
Do not allow the water in the heating system and the boil-
er to freeze.
Do not obstruct access to the boiler and its controller.
Do not place objects on the boiler casing.
Do not cover the boiler casing or the controller.
Do not close the ventilation gaps. The spacing between the
boiler bottom and the oor must allow free airow.
