Installation and Assembly - Extension Column Connector

IMPORTANT! Read entire instruction sheet before you start installation and assembly.

C 520-1063 2 M5 x .8 x 10 mm socket pin screw
D 560-9646 1 4 mm security allen wrench
E 520-1187 2 #10-32 x 3/16" slotted set screw

Before you start make sure all parts listed are included with your product.

Attach extension column connector (A) to exten-
sion column. Align slot in extension column with
one of the holes in extension column connector
(A). Insert and tighten one phillips screw (B)
through connector (A) into slot on extension
column.
Note: For security option, use security screw (C)
in place of screw (B). Tighten security screw (C)
using 4 mm security allen wrench (D)
Repeat step one with second extension column.
Note: To prevent columns from unwinding when
mount is swiveled, both screws (B) or (C) must be
inserted.
Note: Slotted set screws (E) are used to jam
against the threads of each connecting joint to
prevent any excess movement. Do not overtighten
screws; overtightening screws will damage threads
making it difficult to separate the products.

• For TV mounts: If equipment weighs over 50 lb, and
the extension exceeds 12', a Stress Decoupler
(models DCT 100/DCS 200) must be used in combina-
tion with EXT extension columns.
