Step 1
Find the center between the two roller/gate support posts. This should coincide with the position of the
center point of the operator.
Dig a hole deep enough for the post mount adapter installation.
The required post mount adapter depth is dependent on soil conditions and local code (please check
your local code).
Figs A and B show where to locate the post mount adapter in relation to the string and gate support
posts. Be sure that you have a minimum of 7” from the string to the ground.
It is crucial that the top of the post mount adapter is level and exactly 3” below the string.

Pour concrete and let set.

mount adapter is

Align operator unit on post mount adapter.
Check level
Assemble the three mounting brackets for the
operator cover as shown (right).
Assemble the operator to the post mount adapter
using the hex head bolts, washers and nuts with
the post mount adapter.
Tighten with wrench.
Assemble 3 mounting
brackets (as shown)
for operator cover
before installing on
post mount adapter.
