Installation Guide:

Target Training Console Wi-Fi Module

PROCEDURE

Follow the instructions below to install Wi-Fi in a Target Training Console. Wi-Fi is required to track

the unit in Asset Management.

Wi-Fi Kit Components

1. Make

sure the console is not connected to any source of power.

2.

Remove the 4 screws to separate the front and back console covers.

3. Put the Wi-Fi board in place and attach it with the two screws provided.

Attach the antennas to the inside of the back cover, aligning them with the embossed lines.

5. Apply tape to secure the antennas.

6. Twist the wires together and connect the antenna ends to the Wi-Fi module.

7. Put the back console cover in place and attach it with the screws.

8. Attach the console to the unit and power the console on.

9. Configure the following information in the console. (See the Service Guide for setup

instructions.)

• Asset Management and Workout Tracking

• Network Setup

10. After configuring the console with a valid Facility ID and valid Frame and Console Serial

Numbers, a machine record will be inserted in Asset Management when one of the following

occurs:

• a network connection is established

• a workout of >1 minute is performed

• power is cycled

In the event that a machine record is not inserted in Asset Management following one of the

three actions above, contact Matrix Customer Tech Support.
