Built-in Battery Pack
In some countries, the cobas h 232 meter is available with a built-in battery pack. For safe
shipment a protective foil prevents contact between the battery pack terminals and the meter.
The protective foil has to be removed before the meter is put into operation.
1 Check if there is a red flag on the meter’s
back as shown in the picture. The flag
indicates that your meter has a built-in
battery pack.
2 Hold the meter so that the tab on the
handheld battery pack points upward.
3 Gently press the tab on the battery com-
partment cover towards the center of the
meter and tilt the cover to the side.
