(1) Check whether GRBL and the product are connected
(2) Check whether the product power supply is powered and check the red indicator
(3) Under the normal condition of the above operation, check whether there is a red alarm in
the lower right corner of GRBL software. If yes, it means that the gyroscope alarm has been
triggered. Enter the $$ value to check the $140 value, it is recommended to set it to 16 and then
click the start button to lift it;
(4) If no problem is found in any of the above operations, please check whether the progress
meter triggers the soft limit. If so, click the reset button, the unlock button and click start carving.

(1) Confirm whether the driver (CH340) has been installed on the computer side, and reinstall
the driver; If the installation is successful, the USB connection to the product is displayed in the
COM port in GRBL, and you can also choose other ports to try to connect. As shown in the figure:
(2) Confirm whether the baud rate in the setting parameter is 115200;
(3) If you are installing GRBL software for the first time and the above operations are unable to
connect or disconnect immediately after connection, you can use Lightburn software to con-
nect with to check the product firmware version number. If it is COMGO V1.0, you only need to
refresh the firmware (it is recommended to update our latest firmware);

(4)If you find that Lightburn/GRBL and other software cannot be connected under normal
operation during use, replace the USB cable.
GRBL can not connect to the product.

(1) Check whether the setting size of the engraved picture exceeds 400*400;
(2) Input “$$”, check whether it is “$20=1”. If not, modify “$20=1” and start the soft limit switch. It
can prevent the engraving range from exceeding 400 under artificial settings or other abnor-
mal conditions.
During GRBL engraving, the X-axis always hits the side.

(1) Check whether the wire is loose (fork the power line of the laser head), or loosen the PWM
line separately to check whether the laser head emits light normally;
(2) Please unplug the laser connecting wire, turn on LaserGRBL, adjust the laser brightness to
the maximum, and then measure the voltage of “POWER” and “PWM” wire respectively. If both
“POWER” and “PWM” have voltage, there is a problem with the laser module.
The machine moves normally, but the laser does not light.

(1) Check whether the laser focal length is correctly adjusted. 5W laser focal length is 23mm
and 10W laser focal length is 45mm;
(2) We recommend that you refer to the recommended engraving parameters in the manual
for setting;
(3) If the laser lens is obscured by foreign objects, we recommend you to clean the lens regu-
larly;
(4) Confirm whether the software settings are wrong (for Lightburn);
(5) When it is cutting, we recommend that the cutting materials do not have a lot of deforma-
tion. If there is, we recommend that you first press together flat after cutting;
(6) The cutting speed is not recommended to be lower than 120mm. If it is for thicker materials,
we suggest you to cut twice or more times in a separate way. If the speed is too slow, it will
easily lead to serious burning around the cutting edge of the board.
Engraving or cutting does not achieve the desired effect.

(1) Confirm whether the driver (CH340) has been installed (the driver file can check the
random file in the SD card). If you reinstall the driver installed successfully, USB connected
products are shown with COM port in GRBL. You can also choose other ports to try to connect.
As shown in the figure:
(2) Confirm whether the baud rate in the setting parameter is 115200;
(3) Delete the setup parameters in the device list and reset the connection parameters.
Linghtburn can not be connected.

(1) Open the cutting setting editor to see if the “overscan” button is turned on. (After the prod-
uct is turned on, due to communication problems, the product needs to be reset to contact the
alarm. After clicking the “reset”, the X/Y axis of the product will move to the home position. If the
“overscan” button is turned on, the X axis will perform a -2.5mm movement. Thus the alarm will
be triggered when the machine is turned on.) Turning off the “overscan” button will have no
effect on the engraving effect;
(2) If you need to set (super scan) when engraving, move the X-axis to a certain distance from
the limit switch and then click the “set home” button to start engraving.
When Lightburn clicks to start engraving, an alarm problem
appears immediately.

(1) Check whether Lightburn is connected to the product;
(2) Check whether the product power supply is powered and check the red indicator;
(3) The normal condition of the above operation means that the gyro alarm has been trig-
gered, enter the “$$ value” to check the “$140 value”. We suggest you to set it to 16 and then
click the “start” button.

(2) Remove the main board cover, change the position of X-axis limit line and Y-axis limit line,

The laser does not stop moving after hitting the limit switch.

For stainless steel, laser engraving can be done directly on its surface. For specific engraving

such as iron, aluminum and copper, they cannot be carved directly. They can be carved only

ment will also have a certain impact on the service life and engraving ability. When the laser
module lens is found to be scorched yellow or the lens is blurred, it needs to be properly
cleaned;
(2) Regularly check the fit tightness of the pulley and the profile;
(3) Regularly check whether the belt is notched. In the installation or other processes, do not
bend the belt. The belt is equipped with steel wire, bending is likely to lead to wire fracture.

black or tinted paper on the surface, so that the engraving text will be more clear.

you to use the Lightburn software to carve. GRBL will be much slower for grayscale engraving,
so the engraving will not be good.

parameters;
(2) GOMGO version 1.1, compared to 1.0, this version of the firmware mainly optimizes the soft-

rithm logic and improves the carving speed. It is the latest version of firmware.

longer.

Yes, it needs to be used with rotary engraving components. Just connect the Y-axis motor line
to the rotary engraving assembly motor (note that the Y-axis motor cables on both sides of Z1
need to be removed, not just one), and set “$101=65” at the same time. When the engraving is
finished, you need to set “$101=80”.
