1.1 Front Panel
1.CABIN DOOR: In DVD mode.
2.POWER: Used to turn on/ off the main power supply.
3.OPEN/ CLOSE BUTTON: Used to open or close the disc tray in DVD mode.
4.PLAY/PAUSE: Used to pause or playback the program being viewed .
5.STANDBY INDICATOR LIGHT: Used to visually show power state of the set top
box, the red will show if turned on the set top box power on.
6.REMOTE CONTROL SENSOR: Used to receive the signal from the remote control.
7.LED DISPLAY: Used to display the time or channel information.
8.USB JACK: Used to connect to an external USB 2.0 device.
1.2 Rear Panel
1 LOOP OUT: This socket will bypass the SAT signal to another STB.
2 LNB IN: Used to connect the Dish and LNB to receive the signal.
3 HDMI OUT: This socket connects to HDMI in device.
4.CVBS: This socket outputs composite video signal.
5.Y/Pb/Pr: These sockets connect to your TV component input terminals.
6.L/R: This socket outputs analog audio L/R signal.
7 COAXIAL: This socket connects to a coaxial socket on your surround sound system.
8 MAINS CABLE: This is used to connect to your main power supply.

2 Remote Control
2.1 Key introduce
1.OPEN/CLOSE: In DVD mode, press
<OPEN/CLOSE> to immediately eject or close
the disc tray. NOTE: The <OPEN/CLOSE>
button has no effect in DVB mode.
2. PLAY/PAUSE: Used to pause or playback
the program being viewed .
3. REV: Press <REV> to enter Fast-Reverse
playback.
4. STOP: Press <STOP> button to during
playback.
5. FWD: Press<FWD>to enter fast forward
playback.
6. SAT/DVD: Press the<SOURCE> button to
switch between DVD mode and DVBS mode.
7. CH+/CH-: In the DVB mode, Pressing <UP>/
<DOWN> button will go the next/ previous
channel, in the list of all channels.
8. VOL+/VOL-: Used to move around the menu
screens or changing the volume in normal play
mode.
9. RETURN/EXIT: In DVD mode, press
<RETURN> button to return the root menu of
the disc. In the DVB mode, press <Return> button to switch the last two viewed
channels; Used to exit the setup menu.
10. SLOW: Press <SLOW > button to enter slow playback,
11. GOTO: During DVD playback, press <GOTO>
to show the current time counter position.
12. NUMBER KEYS: Used to select channel numbers or input numbers in menus.
13. AUDIO: Used to select the available audio languages or set the sound mode.
14. SUBTITLE: Used to switch among different subtitles that are broadcasted.
15. MENU/Yellow: In DVD mode, press menu to the program menu.
In DVB mode the color key used to operate different functions in Text screen or
other menu.
16. ANGLE/Blue : In DVD mode, pressing <ANGLE> will change the view angle,
on DVD that support this feature. NOTE: In the DVD mode ,This <ANGLE>
button has effect in the special DVD disc. In DVB mode the color key used to
operate different functions in Text screen or other menu.
17. RECORD: Used to record the program manually, and select the record
duration if pressed it again.
18. TV/RADIO: Used to switch between TV channels and Radio stations.
19.MUTE: Used to turn the sound on or off.
20. STANDBY: Press the <STANDBY> button to switch between normal mode and
standby mode.
21. P/N: Press this button to switch between PAL and NTSC TV output formats,
Formats are NTSC, PAL, and AUTO..
22. PREV: Used to skip to previous chapter or track
23. NEXT: Used to skip to the next chapter or track.
24. SETUP: Pressing <SETUP> button will enter the setup main menu.
25. OK: Used to confirm a selection within a menu.
26. INFO: Used to display information about the current start.
27. TITLE/TTX: Used to open teletext OSD display if teletext available in the
broadcasted stream.
28. PROGRAM: In the DVD mode Press the <PROGRAM> button to display the
PROGRAM options. In DVB made press the <Program> button to enter the Reclist
Menu.
29. A-B/Green: Press <A-B> once to set the starting point for repeat segment.
Press it again to set an end point, and the player will repeat the segment from the
start to end point. Press it once more to turn off repeat segment. In DVB mode the
color key used to operate different functions in Text screen or other menu.
30. REPEAT/Red: Press <REPEAT> to select repeat mode. Press multiple times
to cycle between Title Repeat, Chapter Repeat, and Repeat Off. In DVB mode the
color key used to operate different functions in Text screen or other menu.
31. EPG: Used to display information about the program being viewed and what's
on next.
32. FAVORITE: Used to access your favourite channels.

2.2 Installing the Batteries
Remove the battery cover from the Remote Control and put 2xAAA size batteries inside the
compartment.
The diagram inside the Battery Compartment shows the correct way to install the batteries.
2.3Using the Remote Control
To use the Remote Control, point it towards the front of the Digital Set Top Box. The
Remote Control has a range of up to 7 metres from the Set Top Box at an angle of up to 60
degrees.
The Remote Control will not operate if its path is blocked. Sunlight or very bright light will
decrease the sensitivity of the Remote Control.
3 Connections
Caution: Make sure to check the voltage specification of the wall outlet is the same rating
with the receiver. To prevent the risk of electric shock, do not open the cover or the back of
the receiver.
Note: When connecting the receiver to other equipment, e.g., TV, VCR and amplifier, make
sure to refer to relevant user manual for instruction. Also, make sure you disconnect all the
equipments from the mains supply before the connection.

4 First Time Installation
After all connections have been made properly, switch on TV and make sure the receiver is
connected to the Main Power. Press Power button to switch receiver on. If you are using
the receiver for the first time or restored to Factory Default, the Main Menu will appear on
your TV screen.
(1) Select [OSD Language] and press RIGHT/LEFT key to select an language.
(2) Select [Dish Setup] and press RIGHT/LEFT/OK to Dish Setup menu.
(3) Once channel tuning is complete, you are now ready to watch TV.
4.1 Program Manage Settings
To access the Menu, press the MENU button and
select [Program].The Menu provides options to
adjust the Program Manage Settings. Select an
option and press OK or RIGHT to adjust that setting.
Press the EXIT button to exit the Menu.
4.1.1 Program Edit
To edit your program preferences (lock, skip,
favourite, move or delete), you will need to enter the
Program Edit Menu. This Menu requires a password
to access. Enter the default password '000000'
Set Favourite Program
You can create a short list of favourite programs that
you can easily access. Set Favourite TV or Radio
program:
1. Select the preferred program then press the
FAVOURITE button. A heart-shaped symbol will appear and the program is marked as a
favourite.
2. Repeat the previous step to select more Favourite programs.
3. To confirm and exit the Menu, press the EXIT key Disable favourite TV or Radio
Program; Press the FAVOURITE button on the Remote Control with the heart-shaped
symbol.
View Favourite Program
1. Press the Favourite button and the Favourite
Menu will appear.
2. Press UP/DOWN to select your Favourite
Programs.
3. Press OK to select your favourite program.
Delete a TV or Radio Program
1. Select the Program and then press the BLUE
button, A message will appear. Press OK to
delete the program.
2. Repeat the previous step to select more programs to delete.
Skip TV or Radio Program
1. Select the program you would like to skip and press the GREEN button. A skip symbol is
displayed. The program is marked as a skip.
2. Repeat the previous step to select more programs.
3. To confirm and exit the menu, press EXIT key. Disable a skip TV or Radio program:
Press
the GREEN button on the skip program with the skip symbol.
Move a TV or Radio Program
1. Select the preferred program then press the RED button. A move symbol will appear.
2. Press UP/DOWN to move the program.
3. Press OK to confirm.
4. Repeat the above steps to move more channels.
Lock Program
You can lock selected programs for restricted view. Lock a TV or Radio Program:
1.Select the preferred program then press the YELLOW button. A lock- shaped symbol is
displayed. The program is now marked as locked.
2. Repeat the previous step to select more programs.
3. To confirm and exit the menu, press the EXIT button.
4. Press the YELLOW button to disable the locked program.
5. To view the locked program, you will be require to enter either the default password
'000000' or your last set password.

4.2 Video Setting
To access the Menu, press MENU then select [Picture]. The Menu provides options to
adjust the video settings. Press UP/DOWN to select an option and press RIGHT/LEFT to
adjust that setting. Press EXIT to exit the menu.
4.2.1 Aspect Ratio
You must set the display format to either 4:3 Pan Scan, 4:3 Letter Box,16:9 Wide Screen or
Auto to get the maximum display when watching TV.
4.2.2 Resolution
If the video does not appear correctly, change the
setting. This setting is to match the most common
setting for HDMI. [480i]: for NTSC system TV. [480P]:
for NTSC system TV. [576i] for PAL system TV.
[576P]: for PAL system TV. [720P]: for NTSC or PAL
system TV. [1080I]: for NTSC or PAL system TV.
4.2.3 TV format
If the video does not appear correctly, you need to
change the settings. This should match the most
common setting for TVs in your country.[NTSC]:
for NTSC system TV. [PAL]: for PAL system TV;
[Auto] :set TV format according to the stream automatically
4.3 Channel Search
To access the menu, press MENU and select
[Search Channel]. The Menu provides options to
adjust the Search Channel settings. Select an option
and press RIGHT/LEFT to adjust the settings. Press
EXIT to exit the Menu
4.3.1 Satellite
Configure the settings of satellites.
Satellites' list: Press Up/Down to select a satellite, whose settings will be shown at right
side.
LNB Type: Press LEFT/RIGHT/OK to show the list of LNB Types which is shown as
frequencies of local oscillator. You also can enter frequency by User Single, User Dual at
bottom of the list.
LNB Power: Press LEFT/RIGHT to set the LNB power.
22K: Press Left/Right to switch on or off the 22K,which is set with auto when LNB Type is
dual local oscillator.
Toneburst: Enable or Disable the toneburst switcher.
DiSEqC1.0: select the right port up to 4 for the right LNB.
DiSEqC1.1: select the right port up to 16 for the right LNB.
Motor: Press LEFT/RIGHT to select DiSEqC1.2 or DiSEqC1.3. Then Press OK to show the
menu to set position.
DiSEqC1.2: Move the motor to a right position to lock the signal.
DiSEqC1.3: Move the motor according to the local and satellite positions.
Move Auto: Press LEFT/RIGHT to start to move West/East. It will be stopped automatically
when the signal is locked.
Move Continue: Press LEFT/RIGHT to start to move West/East. It will keep moving until
you stop it.
Move Step[1]: Press LEFT/RIGHT to move just a step.
Store Position: store current position of motor.
Goto Position: Press LEFT/RIGHT to goto the position stored.
Goto Reference: Rest all the positions.

Goto X: goto the position calculated from the local and satellite positions.
Add satellites: Press Red to add a new
satellite, in which you must input an unique
longitude, and edit the satellite's name with
soft keyboard.
Edit satellites: Press Green to edit the
focused satellite.
Delete satellite: Press Yellow to delete the
focused satellite. Press OK to confirm.
Single Satellite Scan: Press Blue to pop the
menu of scanning settings.
Scan Mode: Press Left/Right to select
default, which scan the default
transponders built in, Blind Scan and
NetWork, which scan with NIT on.
Crytped: Press Left/Right to select All
Channels or FTA Channels;
Service Type: Press Left/Right to select
ALL , DTV or Radio.
Press OK to start scanning with the above
settings.
Multi-Satellites Scan: Press OK to select satellites with the mark" “,then press
blue to pop the menu of scanning setting. After Configuring like single satellite scan,
press OK to start multi-satellites scan.
Channel Search
Scan the satellites or Transponders according the configurations.
Blind Scan
First scan the band to get the transponders which can be locked. After gathering
all Transponders, Scan the transponders one by one to get the programs.
4.3.2 Transponder
Press GOTO to switch the list to show transponders of the focused satellite. Also
you can press GOTO to switch back to satellites' list.
Add transponder: Press Red to add a new transponder. It can't save an existing
TP under the same satellite.
Edit transponder: Press Green to edit the focused transponder. It can't save an
existing TP under the same satellite.
Delete transponder: Press Yellow to delete the focused transponder. Press OK

to confirm.
Single Transponder Scan: Press Blue to pop the menu of scanning setting. After
configuring the settings, Press OK to start scanning.
Multi-Transponder Scan: Press OK to select transponders with the mark"",
then press blue to pop the menu of scanning setting. After Configuring
the settings, press OK to start multi-transponder scanning.
4.4 Time Setting
To access the Menu, press MENU then select [Time]. The Menu provides options to adjust
the time settings. Press UP/DOWN to select an option and press RIGHT/LEFT to adjust
the settings. Press EXIT to exit the menu.
(1)Time Auto: update time with the stream time,
or NOT.
(2)Time Zone: Select the Time Zone Offset.
(3)Date: show and set the system date.
(4)Time: show and set the system time.
(5)Sleep: If this setting is off, this function
does not work. If this setting is not off, a
message will pop up after your preferred
time to inform you, that the device will go in to
sleep mode. This message will appear
under no any operation. Auto-off function can be set in a time period at 0-12 hours.
Standard setting is off. Press STANDBY button to exit sleep/auto-off mode.
4.5 Option
To access the Menu, press MENU and select
[Option]. The menu provides options to adjust
the OSD Language, Subtitle Language and
Audio Language. Select an option and press
RIGHT/LEFT to adjust the setting. Press EXIT
to exit the Menu.
(1) OSD Language: Select an OSD language.
(2) Audio Language: Select the preferred audio
language for watching TV channels. If the
language is not available, the default program
language will be used.
(3) Subtitle Language: Select the preferred
subtitle language.
(4)Digital Audio set output mode of Digital
Audio
(5)Banner Time set the period of banner auto
disappearing
4.6 System
To access the Menu, press MENU and select
[System].The menu provides options to adjust
the system settings. Press the UP/DOWN key
to select an option and press RIGHT/LEFT to
adjust the setting. Press EXIT to exit the Menu .
4.6.1 Set Password
Set or change the password for locked
programs. Enter your old password or the default password '000000'. You will then be
asked to enter your new password. To confirm re-enter your new password. Once it is
confirmed, press EXIT to exit the Menu.
4.6.2 Restore Factory Default
Reset your Set Top Box to the Default Factory Settings. In Main Menu select [Restore
Factory Default] and press OK or RIGHT to select. Enter your password or the default

password '000000' and press OK to confirm. This option will delete all preset channels and
settings.
4.6.3 Information
View model, hardware and software information.
4.6.4 Recall List
enable or disable Recall list function, which
support multi-recall -program switching.
4.6.5 Software update
select to start software update if USB is
connecting and there's a upgrading file.
4.7 USB
To access the Menu, press the MENU button
and
select [USB]. The menu provides options to playback Music and Photo files, it can support
MP3, WMA, JPEG, BMP files, The unit will only support USB device with FAT and FAT32
file system. It will not support NTFS file system.
4.7.1 Multimedia:
if no USB device plugged into it, a warning message "No USB Device is Found" displays,
otherwise you can select the Music or Photo type in this menu and press OK to enter the
file browser and select the file to playback
4.7.2 Photo configure:
-Slide Time: adjust slide show interval to 1~8
seconds .
-Slide Mode: adjust slide show effect as mode
0~59 or random.
-Aspect Ratio: Keep displays the picture as its
original aspect, Discard displays the picture in
full screen mode.
4.7.3 Movie Configure
- Subtitle Specific:
[Small]: Displays the subtitle as small mode.
[Normal]: Displays the subtitle as normal mode.
[Big]: Displays the subtitle as big mode.
- Subtitle BG:
[White]: Displays the subtitle in white
background.
[Transparent]: Displays the subtitle in
transparent background.
[Grey]: Displays the subtitle in grey
background.
[Yellow green]: Displays the subtitle in yellow green background.
- Subtitle Font Color:
[Red]: Displays Subtitle in red font.
[Blue]: Displays Subtitle in blue font.
[Green]: Displays Subtitle in green font.
Note:
- We cannot guarantee compatibility (operation and/or bus power) with all USB mass
storage devices and assumes no responsibility for any loss of data that may occur when
connected to this unit.
- With large amounts of data, it may take longer for the system to read the contents of a
USB device.
- Some USB devices may not be properly recognized.
- Even when they are in a supported format, some files may not play or display depending
on the content.

4.7.4 PVR Configure
[Record Device]: Select the disk for the record.
[Format]: Format the selected disk.
5. User Interface of DVD Playback
Press the SOURCE button on the remote control under DVB showing mode,
the unit will go to the DVD playing mode, then press the SETUP button on the
remote control, the SETUP MENU will be displayed.
After accessing the setup menu, press the direction buttons for up and down
movement to select an item desired, then press the OK button to confirm.
Press LEFT direction button return to the menu of upper level.
To exit the setup, press the SETUP button again. In the SETUP MENU, you may
choose any of the following options as you like.
5.1 LANGUAGE SETUP
Select Language in the setup menu, and
display the Language submenu:
(1).OSD Language
Use this item to select the language of the
setup menu and screen display.
(2).Subtitle
This option provides the preset subtitle
language.
(3).MPEG4 Subtitle(optional)
Select different MPEG4 subtitle encoding option.
Note: Not all players support this item.
(4).Audio
Select the built-in disc dubbing language options.
(5).DVD Menu
This option provides the film's menu language options.
5.2 VIDEO SETUP
Select Video in the setup menu, and display the Video submenu:
(1).Aspect Ratio
Select the aspect ratio.
Notes: The image display ratio is related to
the recorded disc format.
Some disc can not display images in the
aspect ratio you choose.
If you play a disc recorded in 4:3 format on
a wide screen TV, black bars will appear
on the left and right side of the screen.
You must adjust the screen setting
depending on the type of the television you
have.
(2).TV System
Select the different TV system.
Note: The DVD player setting should be matched to your TV set. For more information of
output format, refer to the instructions or your TV set.
(3).Video Out
Select the video output format wanted.
Note: Only HDMI DVD player has “HD” selection.
(4).HD Resolution (optional)
After you set the video output to HD output, you can choose the resolution of HDMI output.
Note: Only HDMI DVD player has this item.
5.3 AUDIO SETUP
Select Audio in the setup menu, and
display the Audio submenu.
(1).Digital output (Optional)
Adjust the audio output on Coaxial ports to
work in harmony with the audio
equipment (e.g. receiver, amplifier)
connected to the player.
Off Digital audio output is disabled.
PCM Transfer stereo 2 channels signals

RAW: Transfer the DVD original audio track
Note: This item is only for the player with coaxial output.
(2).Down sampling
Select down sampling function on or off.
ON: System will down sampling rate for high sampling rate audio(more than 96K).
OFF: Disable this function.
(3).Smart sound (Optional)
Select different music effect whiling listening music.
Note: Not all player has this item.
5.4 RATING SETUP
Select Rating in the setup menu, and
display the Rating submenu.
(1).Parental Control
Set the parental control feature of the
player
Note: Password is needed before
setting Parental Control.
(2).Set Password
Input four digits (password), then
press OK to confirm.
Note: If you forget your password, please use the universal password 6666
to unlock.
5.5 MISC SETUP
Select MISC in the setup menu, and
display the submenu:
(1).Use Default Settings
Reset setup data to factory default value.

6. MP3/WMA/JPEG/MPEG4 PLAYBACK
The MP3/WMA/MPEG4 disc has such a
directory structure as shown picture
above.
Press Direction key to choose the root
directory and then press OK button to
enter
into the sub directory. Press Direction key
to choose the desired track and then
press OK or PLAY to enjoy the music or
movie. If you want to return to the upper
menu, press Direction key to choose
the icon and press OK button.
Filter:
Allows selecting the categories of files displayed in the browser list.
Repeat: To switch different repeat playing mode
Mode: Select different playing mode as follows:
Normal: Shuffle mode is cancelled.
Shuffle: Shuffle mode enabled. When playback reaches the end of the current
chapter/track, playback jumps to a random chapter/track.
As the end of each chapter/track is reached, another random chapter/track will be
played until all tracks/chapters have been played or the Shuffle mode is cancelled
by toggling to a different Mode Option.
Music Intro: In this mode, the media will
play 10 seconds and then skip to next
media.
Edit Mode: To enable programmed
playback mode. When you select the
mode,
press LEFT Direction key to directory and
press OK to choose the desired track
and press Add to program to start program
playback.
Program view: Display program track.
Brower view: Display track directory.

Add to program: Choice the track press Add to program to add the track of the
program play directory.
Clear program: In the complete stop state(press the STOP button twice), choose
the track press Clear program to delete the track of the program play directory.
7. PICTURE CD PLAYBACK
The PICTURE CD disc has such a directory structure as shown in the following picture.
Press Direction key to choose the root
directory and then press OK button to
enter
into the sub directory. Press Direction key
to choose the desired picture and then
press OK or PLAY to enjoy the picture.
If you want to return to the upper menu,
press Direction key to choose the icon
and press OK button.
Image rotation
In picture play state, press Direction key to rotate the picture, press ANGLE button to
change the picture scan mode.
