Notes on Installation
1. Install the device near the rear-view mirror to obtain the best
open-field view.
2. Make sure that the lens is within the wiping range of the
windscreen wiper to ensure a clear view even when it rains.
3. Do not install the device within the working range of an airbag.
4. Do not install the device on a tinted window. Doing so may
damage the tint film.
5. Make sure that the installation position is not hindered by the
tinted window.
6. Do not place electronic devices near the camera. Doing so may
interfere with the device signal.
7. Make sure your camera was powered off before you get out of
the car.
WARNING ON AIRBAGS
Do not install the device on the cap of an airbag or within
the working range of an airbag. The manufacturer shall not
be held liable for any injury or death caused by a vehicle
crash or any problems that may arise concerning the
airbag.

1 Introduction
Thank you for purchasing this advanced Digital Mobile Camera. This
Mobile Camera is a multi-sports-usage device ideal for use in cars,
while cycling or engaging in water sports activities, etc.

2 Getting Started
2.1 Install the LCD Panel
1. Slide to open the LCD panel connector
cover.
2. Align the connectors on the camera and the LCD panel and
then push to lock the LCD panel in place.
To remove the LCD panel, press the panel button and then pull the
LCD panel.
Note: Do not press or put pressure on the LCD screen. Doing so may damage the screen.

2.2 Insert the SD Card
1. Slide to open the connectors cover (if necessary).
2. With the SD card contacts facing the USB and power
connectors, insert and push the SD card into the slot until it
clicks into place.
To remove the SD card, push to eject the SD card out of the slot.
Note: Do not remove or insert the SD card when the Mobile Camera is turned on. This may
damage the SD card.

2.3 Install in Vehicles
2.3.1 Mount to Windshield
1. Press and hold the PUSH button and pull
to detach the bracket base.
2. Attach the bracket base to the
device.
3. With the suction-cup laying
flat, position the suction-cup
on the windshield.
4. Press down the clamp to
mount the bracket to the
windshield.

5. Press and hold the PUSH button and connect the base to the
bracket.
6. Release the PUSH button and make sure the base is securely
locked in place.
2.3.2 Adjust Device Position

the device vertically.

2.4 Connect to Power
Use only the supplied car adapter to power up the device and
charge the built-in battery.
Connect the car adapter to the
power connector of the Mobile
Camera and then plug the other
end to the vehicle’s lighter
socket.
2.5 Power On / Off
2.5.1 Auto Power On/Off
Once the vehicle engine is started, the Mobile Camera automatically
turns on and starts recording.
Once the vehicle engine shuts down, the Mobile Camera
automatically saves the recording and turns off the power within 10
seconds.
Note: Please turn off the power of camera manually if camera doesn’t power off
automatically when you switch off car engine.
2.5.2 Manual Power On/Off
To manually turn on the power, press the Power button.
To turn off, press and hold the Power button
for at least 2 seconds.
2.6 Set Initial Settings
Before using the Mobile Camera, you may want to set up the screen
language and date and time settings. See Camera Settings on page
27.

3 Using the Mobile Camera
3.1 Record Videos
The Mobile Camera has two recording modes:
Driving mode: Ideal to record videos while driving.
Standard mode: Ideal to record all other types of videos.
By default the Mobile Camera is set to Driving mode. When the
vehicle engine starts up, the Mobile Camera automatically turns on
and starts recording.
Recording automatically stops when the engine is
switched off. Or, press the Record button to stop
recording manually.
In Standard mode, press the Record button to start
recording. Press the Record button again to stop
recording. See Change Modes and Settings on page 18.
Notes:
1. Recording in car driving mode, file format *.TS saved in SD card every 5 minutes. If the
memory of SD card is full, the oldest file in the SD card will be overwritten.
2. Recording in standard mode, file format *.MOV saved in SD card continuously and stop
recording till memory card is full.

3.1.2 Use LED / Infrared Light
During video recording, press the LED/Infrared button to
toggle among LED On Infrared On Off.
Note: Turn off LED or infrared lights when the battery is low.
3.1.3 Emergency Recording
During video recording, press to automatically save the current
recording as a protected file.
Note: Emergency recording is available only in Driving mode.
3.1.4 Take Snapshot
The Mobile Camera allows you to take snapshots while recording
videos.
During video recording, press “Snapshot” on the
remote control to take a snapshot of the current scene.
The resolution of a snapshot varies depending on the
current Video recording resolution. See table below.

Snapshot is available only while recording videos and when a remote control is being

3.2 Change Modes and Settings
From the standby screen, you can switch modes and adjust the
resolution, screen orientation, wide angle view, and other camera
settings.
3.2.1 Switch Recording Modes

To adjust the recording settings, do the following:
1. If recording is in progress, press the Record button to stop
recording. The standby screen is displayed.
