back plate must be mounted in the horizontal position, following the ‘TOP’
marking inside the back plate. If the mounting position desired is uneven use
a sheet of marine ply as a base plate and fit the back box.
4. Drill the wall using a appropriate drill bit making sure not to infringe or
compromise any gas, water pipes or cables. Insert the rawl plugs into the
holes.

5. Drill out the drain feature with a 5mm drill if required. Opening the drain hole
will reduce the IP rating of the product.
6. Secure the back box to the wall using suitable screws for the rawl plugs installed.
Ensure that the back box is correctly orientated following the ‘TOP’ marking
which is labelled inside.
7. Pass the 230V AC 50Hz supply and load cables through the cable glands, noting
the correct orientation of the supply and load positions. Secure the cables tightly
to their respective terminals. Ensure that all bare conductors are sleeved and that
the correct polarity is observed; see the WF10COM manual supplied for the
appropriate wiring method. Use the earth terminal to connect the incoming and
outgoing earth conductors for earth continuity.
8. Once the mains supply is connected to the correct terminals, mount the face
plate over the back box aligning the four screws from the face plate to the four
mounting holes on the back box. Tighten until secured.
9. For all other instructions relating to the WF10COM, including pairing etc, refer
back to the WF10COM manual supplied with this product or refer to
www.timeguard.com for a copy if misplaced or lost.
