Description
The AHD06 Conventional Indicating NZ03 Heat
Detector is designed to operate with the NZ1, NZ400,
NZ3200 and FireFinder FACP’s using 3K3Ω EOL and
the NZ100 with 6K8Ω.
Detector is available in four versions, 57°C and 77°C,
sealed and unsealed.
Installation
Observe anti-static precautions at all times
Surface Mount
Locate the detector over a conduit box or cable on a flat
surface, securing with two (2) screws tightened evenly
to prevent distortion.
Cable Entries
Two (2) knockout entries, one (1) either side of the
detector.
Terminate cables (see connection details above)
Fix the detector using the two (2) fixing screws
Insert screw caps to cover fixing screws
Install EOL resistor at the end of the detector circuit
Testing of Detector Operation
A heat gun can be used to operate the detector.
Note: The sealed version is not supplied with a terminal
block.
