Introducing CTP Series Plaorms
Juniper Networks CTP Series Circuit to Packet plaorms provide advanced technology and features
required to reliably transport legacy me-division mulplexing (TDM) and other circuit-based
applicaons across next-generaon IP networks. CTP Series plaorms create an IP packet ow from a
serial data or analog voice connecon at one end and provide the necessary processing to re-create the
serial bit stream or analog signal from the received packet ow at the other end.
CTP Series plaorms provide compact and lightweight chassis, high port density, and mulple Ethernet
interfaces. Each CTP Series plaorm runs the CTP operang system (CTPOS) and can be managed by
the Juniper Networks CTPView Network Management System. The CTPView Network Management
System is a secure, Web-based management tool for provisioning, managing, running diagnoscs,
monitoring, and reporng on all CTP Series devices and circuits in the network.
CTP151 Plaorm Overview
The Juniper Networks CTP151 Circuit to Packet plaorm is a 1-U high, full-rack wide chassis and can be
installed in a rack with the supplied rack-mounng kit. The CTP151 plaorm has two removable
modules for serial interfaces, T1/E1 interfaces, or both.
The CTP151 plaorm has four 10BASE-T, 100BASE-T, or 1000BASE-T RJ-45 ports that can be used as
either access ports or uplink ports, two ports that support small form-factor pluggable plus (SFP+)
