INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

IMPORTANT: Please read all instructions

before beginning.

Step 2 Select the required position (A,B,C or D) as

shown. If installing sign on a 3 compartment

pole in position “B” or “D” See Step 2A

below, otherwise move on to Step 3.

Step 1 Remove and save the screws from the

cover and remove the cover.

Step 2A To install sign on a 3 compartment pole in

position “B” or “D” bend tabs as shown.

This will allow the mounting bracket to fit

the additional width of pole.

Step 3 Slide the checkout light onto the existing power

pole at the required height. (Be sure the light

receptacle is exposed) The pole will contact the

checkout light at the two points represented by

the two arrows.

Step 4 Firmly hand tighten the two thumbscrews.

Plug the lampholder wiring harness into

the light receptacle.

Step 5 Install the number plate with appropriate number

in the housing.

Step 6 Slide the other number plate down into the

panel tracks on the cover.

NOTE: Access and lamp change in the future will be through

this slide up number plate.

Step 7 Place the universal-Trim plate around the

pole, inside the sign at the bottom.

Step 8 Reinstall the front cover using the

original screws.

NOTE: Use only the acrylic diffuser supplied with this light by

the manufacturer. There are no substitutions allowed.
