The Tripp Lite IS-1000 is an Isolator® Series Isolation Transformer that provides true line isolation with superior line noise rejection to protect your sensitive electronic equipment such as telephone and computer systems. The Isolator® features a “Faraday Shield” design, which provides exceptional line noise filtering, especially at low frequency levels.

The IS-1000 is equipped with multiple AC outlets, so you can connect multiple pieces of equipment to it. The total current draw of all connected equipment must not exceed the IS-1000's maximum total current rating of 1000VA.

The Isolator
®
from Tripp Lite provides true line isolation with superior line noise rejection to
protect your sensitive electronic equipment such as telephone and computer systems. The Isolator
®
features a “Faraday Shield” design. This shield, between the primary and secondary windings of the
transformer, provides superior line isolation. Consequently, the Isolator
®
offers exceptional line
noise filtering, especially at low frequency levels where a lack of control can cause harmful and
often overlooked power problems.
Sizing Information
The current required by your equipment must not exceed the Isolator’s maximum total current rating.
The Isolator
®
is equipped with multiple AC outlets. If more than one piece of equipment is connected
to the Isolator, the combined current of the equipment must not exceed the Isolator’s rating.
Installation
Locate the Isolator
®
so that its power cord can be inserted into a properly wired 3-conductor outlet
(the type that accepts the ground prong in addition to the two blades of the plug.) DO NOT add 2-wire
extension cords or adapters.
Warning
DO NOT operate without the ground pin on the plug inserted into the outlet (i.e.
properly grounded). Lack of ground connection will eliminate common mode
protection and cause a small leakage potential in the case. You may, however, plug
2-wire devices into the Isolator outlets.
Plug your equipment into the Isolator and turn Isolator on
Turn on your connected equipment
Operate your connected equipment as usual
2-Year Warranty
If it appears within twenty-four (24) months from the date of delivery to Purchaser that any products or component
parts do not conform exactly to the specifications and physical descriptions referred to above, and the Purchaser, at
its expense, returns the product or component parts to the Seller together with a report of defects, the Seller shall
review the inspection report and inspect the items and shall authorize, at its opinion, either the repair or replacement
of any nonconforming products or component parts. The liability of the Seller to the Purchaser arising out of the supply
of or use of the products or component parts, whether on warranty, contract or negligence, shall not in any case exceed
the amount to be paid by the Seller in obtaining repair or replacement of nonconforming products or component
parts, and upon the expiration of the warranty period, all liability of the Seller shall be terminated.
The Seller shall not be liable for any injury, loss or damage, direct or consequential, arising out of the use of or the
liability to use the product.
The warranty gives specific legal rights. You many have other rights which vary from state to state.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation
or exclusion may not apply to you.
