UsethePREHEATfeatureifthetemperaturefallsbelow23°F(–5°C).DonotholdthekeyinthePREHEATposition
longerthan20seconds.T opreheattheglowplugsincoldweather,turnthekeytothePREHEATposition,andholdit
therefor10-15seconds.ThenturnthekeytotheSTARTposition,andholditthereuntiltheenginestarts.Iftheengine
doesnotstartafter10-15seconds,turnthekeytotheOFFpositionandrepeattheprocedure.Oncetheenginestarts,
releasethekeyanditwillreturntotheONposition.Theenginewillidleinneutral.Theenginewillcontinuetoidleuntil
thekeyisturnedtotheOFFposition.SeepreviousWARNING,CAUTION,andNOTE.
FORWARD/REVERSECONTROL
TheForward/Reversehandle(6)islocatedontherightsideoftheinstrumentpanel(Figure6andFigure7).The
handlehasthreedistinctpositions:FORWARD(A),NEUTRAL(B),andREVERSE(C).Pushthehandleuptooperate
thevehicleintheforwarddirection,orpullthehandledowntooperatethevehicleinreverse.Theenginecanbe

willincreaseastheacceleratorpedalispressed.Whentheacceleratorpedalisreleased,itwillreturntotheoriginal

Theparkbrakepedal(3)islocatedtotheleftofthebrakepedal(Figure6andFigure7).Toengagetheparkbrake,
rstapplypressuretothebrakepedal,thenrmlypresstheparkbrakepedaluntilitlatchesintoplace.Todisengage
