Unpacking
Remove all packaging from the blender. Retain the packaging. If you dispose of it please do
so according to any local regulations.
The following items are included:
Congratulations on the purchase of your new Matsui Blender.
We recommend that you spend some time reading this instruction manual in
order to fully understand all the operational features it offers.
Read all the safety instructions carefully before use and keep this instruction
manual for future reference.

First Time Use
Before using your blender for the first time, wash the jug, blade assembly, lid and stopper. •
Rinse throughly and dry.
Place the base unit on a stable surface, free from heat and moisture and within easy •
reach of a mains socket. The mains cable should not be taut.

Preparing And Filling The Ingredients
Cut the ingredients into 25mm (1”) cubes before placing them into the blender jug. If the •
food is very solid or dry, cut the pieces into smaller cubes.
Fill the blender jug with the ingredients.•
Do not overfill the jug. The maximum capacity is 1500 ml, but we suggest you do not •
exceed 1250 ml. If you are preparing a large quantity use several smaller batches.
If the ingredients are very dry, put some liquid into the jug. You should never try to •
reduce dry ingredients in the blender.
Fitting The Stopper
The stopper has an integral measuring cup useful for measuring small amounts of
ingredients.
Place the stopper in the slots in the lid and turn clockwise to lock. If the stopper is •
properly secured, you will hear a “click” sound.
To avoid splashing, always operate the blender with the stopper firmly in place.
Fitting The Lid
Place the lid on the top of the jug and turn the lid clockwise. If the lid is properly •
secured, you will hear a “click” sound.

Fitting The Jug To The Base Unit
Place the jug on the base unit with the arrows as shown below.•
Turn the jug anticlockwise until the arrows line up to lock the jug to the base unit.•
Operation
Make sure the jug and the lid are secure and in the LOCK position.•
Set the selector switch to ‘0’.•
Plug your blender into the mains and switch on the power. •
Blender’s Operation Modes
Continuous (Normal)
operation
Select the desired operating speed. There are 5 •
speeds. Move the Speed Selector progressively
to the right to increase the speed. When you
start blending use a low speed to begin with and
gradually increase the speed if necessary.
To stop the operation, turn the Speed Selector back •
to ‘0’.
Pulsed operation
Use this mode when ingredients need to be blended
in small repeated bursts.
Turn the Speed Selector to ‘P’ and hold it there for a •
short period of time.
To stop the operation, release the Speed Selector •
which will then automatically return to ‘0’.

During blending, you can feed in small amounts of food or liquid through the jug lid. To do
this:
Hold the lid.•
Turn the stopper slowly anti-clockwise to free it and then lift it out.•
Gradually feed pieces of food or liquids into the jug through the feeder.•
Fit the stopper back when you have finished.•
Do not run the appliance continuously for more than 3 minutes. After a full 3 minute cycle allow the •
blender to rest for another 5 minutes before using it again.
Never blend very hot liquids in the blender. This is dangerous as the contents may erupt. •
If you spill liquid on the blender base immediately switch off and wipe dry.•
After Use
After you have finished blending:
Set the Speed Selector to ‘0’.•
Hold the jug by the handle and carefully turn it clockwise (towards you) to release •
the jug. (This may be easier with one hand on the base and one hand holding the jug
handle).
To pour out the contents, rotate the lid of the jug anticlockwise to free it and then lift off •
the lid. Pour or spoon the contents out carefully.
Unplug the blender from the mains socket.•
Cleaning
Cleaning the blender jug:
Pour about 500ml of warm soapy water into the jug and place the jug on the base.1.
Turn and hold the Speed Selector to ‘P’ for a few seconds to loosen any food particles 2.
and free them from the blades.
Remove the jug, pour away the water and rinse in fresh running water. Repeat 1 •
and 2 with fresh water.
Alternatively the jug may be immersed in warm soapy water and cleaned using a •
long handled brush. Do not touch the blades when cleaning.
Wash the lid and stopper separately in warm soapy water, rinse and allow to dry.•
CAUTION:• The jug body should be handled carefully. The jug contains moving
parts - do not leave the jug immersed in water for any longer than necessary to
clean it or you may affect the operating performance of the blender.
DO NOT wash the jug or attachments in a dishwasher.•

Cleaning the base:
Ensure the blender is switched off and unplugged from the mains.•
Wipe the outer surface of the motor unit with a damp cloth. Never use abrasive cleaners •
or scouring creams.
Never immerse the base in water when cleaning.
Storage
After all the components have been washed and dried, re-assemble the blender and store it
out of direct sunlight and out of the reach of children.
The cable may be wound around the lugs at the bottom of the appliance for easier storage.

Primo utilizzo
Prima di usare il frullatore per la prima volta, lavare la caraffa, la lama, il coperchio e il fermo. •
Risciacquare con cura e asciugare.
Sistemare la base su una superficie piana, lontano da fonti di calore e condensa e da cui •
la presa sia facilmente raggiungibile. Il cavo elettrico non deve essere in tensione.

Come preparare e inserire gli ingredienti
Tagliare gli ingredienti in cubetti di 25mm (1”) prima di sistemarli nella caraffa. Se il cibo •
è molto solido o asciutto tagliare in cubetti più piccoli.
Riempire la caraffa con gli ingredienti.•
Non riempire troppo la caraffa. La capacità massima è di 1500 ml, ma si suggerisce di non •
superare i 1250 ml.
Se si preparano grosse quantità , suddividerle in gruppi più piccoli. Se gli ingredienti •
sono molto asciutti mettere un po’ di liquido nella caraffa. Non cercare mai di ridurre gli
ingredienti asciutti una volta nel frullatore.
Sistemare il fermo
Il fermo è dotato di una tazza di misurazione integrata utile per misurare piccole quantità di
ingredienti.
Sistemare il fermo nelle apposite fessure del coperchio e ruotare in senso orario per •
bloccare. Se il fermo è bloccato correttamente si sente un “clic”.
Per evitare schizzi usare sempre il frullatore con il fermo in posizione.

Sistemare il coperchio sopra la caraffa e rotarlo in senso orario. Se il fermo è bloccato •
correttamente si sente un “clic”.

Sistemazione della caraffa sulla base
Sistemare la caraffa sulla base con le frecce come nel disegno che segue.•
Ruotare la caraffa in senso antiorario fino a che le frecce sono allineate per bloccare la •
caraffa sulla base.
Funzionamento
Assicurarsi che caraffa e coperchio siano bloccati in posizione LOCK.•
Spostare il selettore su ‘0’.•
Collegare il frullatore alla presa di corrente e accendere. •
Modalità di funzionamento del frullatore
Funzionamento
continuato (normale)
Selezionare la velocità di funzionamento •
desiderata. Ci sono 5 velocità. Spostare il selettore
progressivamente a destra per aumentare la
velocità. Quando si inizia a frullare usare una
velocità più bassa e aumentarla gradualmente se
necessario.
Per interrompere il funzionamento spostare il •
selettore di velocità su ‘’0’.
Funzionamento a
pulsazioni
Usare questa modalità quando occorre amalgamare gli
ingredienti con piccoli colpetti ripetuti.
Ruotare il selettore su ‘’P’ e tenere premuto per un •
breve periodo.
Per fermare, rilasciare il selettore che tornerà •
automaticamente su ‘0’.

Duran te il funzionamento è possibile inserire piccole quantità di cibo o liquidi tramite il
coperchio. Per farlo:
Tenere il coperchio.•
Ruotare lentamente il fermo in senso antiorario per liberarlo e sollevarlo.•
Inserire un po’ alla volta il cibo o i liquidi nella caraffa tramite l’apposito canale.•
Quando avete finito risistemare il fermo.•
Non far funzionare l’apparecchio continuativamente per oltre 3 minuti. Dopo un ciclo completo di 3 •
minuti far riposare il frullatore per 5 minuti prima di usarlo nuovamente.
Non frullare mai liquidi bollenti. È pericoloso e il contenuto può schizzare fuori. •
Se si rovesciano dei liquidi sulla base del frullatore spegnere immediatamente e asciugare. •
Dopo l’uso
Quando avete finito di frullare:
Spostare il selettore su ‘’0’.•
Tenere la caraffa dal manico e ruotare con cura in senso orario (verso di voi) per liberarla. •
(Il compito può risultare facilitato se si tiene una mano sulla base e l’altra sul manico).
Per versare i contenuti, ruotare il coperchio della caraffa in senso antiorario per liberarla e •
sollevare il coperchio. Versare il contenuto con attenzione.
Staccare il frullatore dalla presa.•
Pulizia
Pulire la caraffa del frullatore:
Versare circa 500ml di acqua calda insaponata nella caraffa e sistemare quest’ultima 1.

Rimuovere la caraffa, eliminare l’acqua e sciacquare sotto acqua corrente. Ripetere •

In alternativa immergere la caraffa in acqua saponata e pulire usando una spazzola •
con un lungo manico. Non toccare le lame durante la pulizia.
Lavare il coperchio e il fermo separatamente in acqua tiepida saponata, risciacquare •
e far asciugare.
ATTENZIONE• : La caraffa va maneggiata con cura. La caraffa contiene parti in
movimento - non lasciarla immersa nell’acqua per periodi più lunghi del necessario
per la pulizia perché ne può venire alterato il funzionamento del frullatore.
NON lavare la caraffa o gli accessori in lavapiatti.•

Pulire la base:
Assicurarsi che il frullatore sia spento e staccato dalla corrente. •
Pulire la superficie esterna dell’unità motore con un panno umido. Non usare mai •
sostanze abrasive o creme che graffino.
Non immergere mai la base nell’acqua durante la pulizia.
Come custodire
Dopo aver lavato e asciugato tutte le parti, riassemblare il frullatore e riporlo lontano dalla
luce diretta del sole e lontano dalla portata dei bambini.
Per comodità si può avvolgere il cavo attorno alle alette che si trovano alla base
dell’apparecchio.
