STOPPING THE UNIT
Put the engine switch in the OFF position (see page 13).
1
Follow all instructions and rules when using the water pump (see pages 3 - 5).
• Do not start or operate the engine in a confined space, building, near open windows, or in other unventilated
space where dangerous carbon monoxide fumes can collect.
• Do not use this product to pump acids, alkalines, solvents, flammable material, bleaches, or industrial grade
solutions.
• Secure the pump to reduce the risk of injury or property damage due to unexpected tool movement. If any
tipping or walking is noticed, stop operation and anchor the pump to prevent movement.
• Do not operate the pump unless a filtered suction hose is attached and connected to a water source.
• Secure the discharge hose. An unsecured hose may whip or “kick back” during operation and cause serious
personal injury.
• For maximum suction, keep the distance from the pump and water source as short as possible.
• Avoid running the tool at low or high speeds for extended periods of time as this may damage the pump.
When preparing to store the water pump, allow the unit to cool completely, then follow the guidelines listed on
page 15 and 16.

TROUBLESHOOTING
IMPORTANT!
Only use OUTSIDE and
far away from windows,
doors, and vents.
NEVER use inside a home
or garage, EVEN IF doors
and windows are open.
Using a gas water pump indoors CAN KILL YOU IN MINUTES. Engine exhaust
contains carbon monoxide. This is a poison you cannot see or smell. Use
sufficient hose length to keep pump at least 20 feet (6 meters) away from
all windows, doors, and vents. Direct engine exhaust away from all
windows, doors, and vents.
Move throttle lever to the RIGHT (see page 13).
Move the choke to the START position (see page 13).
Move the fuel lever to the OPEN position (see page 13).
Put the engine switch in the ON position
(see page 13).
Pull the recoil starting grip until the engine runs
(see page 13).
