Cornelius Lower Drip Tray Replacement Kit

The Cornelius Lower Drip Tray Replacement Kit is a must-have for any Cornelius beverage dispenser owner. Disconnect power to the unit before servicing. Follow all lock out/tag out procedures established by the user. Verify
all power is off to the unit before performing any work.
Failure to comply could result in serious injury, death or damage to the equipment.
1. If applicable, remove and discard the two cold plate drain boots and surrounding insulation
(see Figure 1).

2. Remove lower drip tray drain from floor drain line.
NOTE: If the dispenser hopper is loaded with ice, ice will continue to melt from the coldplate drains.
This water must be contained until new driptray/drain lines are installed.
3. Wipe up any water on or underneath unit with a cloth or paper towels.
4. If drain line to floor drain is PVC, see Figure 2 for recommended drip tray fitting setup. If drain line to floor
drain is Flexible tube, see Figure 3 for recommended driptray fitting setup.

5. Install new drip tray into the dispenser by tilting the drip tray underneath the coldplate drains.
6. Reconnect drain line to drip tray. The drain line must slope a minimum of ¼” per foot to the floor drain,
see Figure 4. Drain lines must be installed to comply with federal, state and local codes.

IMPORTANT:

It is required to fully insulate all drain lines and fittings to prevent condensation from forming!

7. Check new drip tray, drain line, and fittings for leaks.
