the floor, lay the grate on top
of it with the grate’s underside

Installation Video
All window wells (even on the same home) can be a slightly
different size and shape as a result of backfilling, installation, etc.
Adjust-A-Grate’s patented design will adjust to a range of sizes and
window well contours (see size chart).

Maintenance Free - Constructed of lightweight tempered
aluminum which will never rust or need painting.
Strong and Lightweight - Tempered aluminum constuction
will support up to 400 pounds yet is light enough for easy exit
(Model L6 is only 17 pounds).
Daylight and Fresh Air - Open design allows plenty of
natural light and ventilation to basement.
Easy to Install - Step-by-step instructions and video (see
back) lead you through adjustment and installation.
No Special Tools - A 7/16” Wrench, tape measure, and pencil
or marker are all the tools required to adjust and install the
grate.
Optional Security Kit with Quick Release - deters outside
entry while allowing easy emergency exit (see back panel).
Custom Fit - Because each component loop of the
Adjust-A-Grate adjusts independently of the others, each
model of grate will fit various contours and shapes.
10 Year Warranty - Adjust-A-Grate warrants that it will
replace any part of this product that proves defective in
material or workmanship within ten years from the date
of purchase by a consumer. Adjust-A-Grate assumes no
responsibility for the results of improper installation or
abnormal use.
