Urban Factory Connexion Kit is a multi-functional device compatible with Microsoft Surface. It enables users to read various file formats, including photos, videos, PDF documents, Word documents, and Excel spreadsheets, from external storage devices such as USB sticks, SD cards, and micro SD cards. Vous venez d’acheter un kit de connexion Urban Factory pour

Microsoft Surface, et nous vous en remercions.

Afin de profiter pleinement de ce produit, nous vous invitons à lire

attentivement cette notice et la conserver pour tout besoin ultérieur.

Ce kit multifonctions permet de lire les photos, vidéos mais aussi

d’autres fichiers comme les documents PDF, Word, Excel à partir

d’une clé USB, d’une carte mémoire SD ou micro SD. Il est aussi

possible de déplacer les fichiers, les couper ou les copier, les

supprimer, de synchroniser la Surface avec un PC, et brancher à la

Surface un clavier et/ou une souris !

3. Fonctionnement:

a. Clé USB:

Une fois le kit de connexion branché à la Surface, et la clé USB

elle-même branchée au kit de connexion, la Surface va indiquer qu’elle

est prête à installer l’appareil, puis va automatiquement détecter la clé

USB, et l’ouvrir, pour faciliter l’analyse du contenu.

Il est alors possible de copier/coller/supprimer des fichiers de la clé

USB vers la Surface.

b. Cartes mémoire:

Une fois le kit de connexion branché à la Surface, et la carte SD ou

micro SD elle-même branchée au kit de connexion, la Surface va

automatiquement détecter la carte mémoire, et l’ouvrir, pour faciliter

l’analyse du contenu.

Il est alors possible de copier/coller/supprimer des fichiers de la carte

mémoire vers la Surface.

Remarque : il n’est possible de lire q’une seule carte à la fois, ne

brancher qu’une seule carte à la fois.

c. Souris / Clavier:

Une fois le kit de connexion branché à la Surface, et le câble ou dongle

USB lui-même branchée au kit de connexion, la Surface va indiquer

qu’elle est prête à installer l’appareil, puis va automatiquement

détecter la souris /le clavier.

4. Consignes de sécurité:

Ne tentez jamais tenter d’ouvrir l’appareil, ne cherchez pas à le réparer

vous-même si vous constatez une panne ou un dysfonctionnement. Si

vous faites ce constat, merci de suivre la procédure relative aux

produits sous garantie. Utilisez et stockez votre appareil à des

températures n’excédant pas 40°C et ne déscendant pas en dessous

de 0°C. Ne pas utiliser le produit dans des zones humides,

poussiéreuses, et tout autre endroit qui risquerait d’altérer le bon

fonctionnement du produit. Conservez le produit dans sa boite d’origine

lorsqu’il est inutilisé pendant un long moment afin de le protéger de tout

risque d’altération.

Limite de la garantie:

Ce produit comporte une garantie complète de deux ans à compter de

la date d’achat contre les défauts de fabrication. Cette garantie ne

couvre pas les dégâts résultant d’accidents, d’un usage inadapté, de

réparation ou transformation pratiquées sur le produit, ou resultant de

la non-observation du mode d’emploi.

Microsoft Surface. In order to enjoy this item longer, please read

carefully this user guide and keep it for further reference.

This multi-functions kit makes it possible to read pictures, videos, but

also other files such as PDF documents, Word, Excel, from a USB

Stick, or from a SD or micro SD memory card. It is also possible to

copy, paste, or delete files, so as to synchronize the Surface with a

computer and connect a Keyboard and/or a mouse to the Surface!

3. Operation:

a. USB Key:

Once the connection kit plugged to the Surface and the USB key

connected to the connection kit, the Surface will indicate that it is ready

to install the device, and then will automatically detect the USB key,

open it and display content.

It is then possible to copy/paste/delete files from the USB key to the

Surface.

b. Memory cards:

Once the connection kit plugged to the Surface and the memory card

(SD, Micro SD) connected to the connection kit, the Surface will

automatically detect the card, open it, and display content.

It is then possible to copy/paste/delete files from the card to the

Surface.

Remark: it is possible to read only one card at once. Please only plug

one SD or Micro SD card.

c. Mouse/ Keyboard :

Once the connection kit plugged to the Surface, and the USB cable or

dongle connected to the connection kit, the Surface will indicate that it

is ready to install new device and will automatically detect the

mouse/keyboard.

4. Safety guidelines:

Never try to open the device, and do not try to repair it by yourself if you

notice any defect. If you do think that your item is faulty, please follow the

process concerning products under warranty. Use and store your

device in an environment above 0°C and below 40°C. Never use this

product in moist or dusty environments, and any other place which

could damage the product. When you don’t use it for a long time,

please store the connection kit in its box, to prevent from alteration.

Limitation of the guarantee:

From the date of purchase, this product has a full two year warranty

against manufacturing defects. Coverage is not extended to damage

from accidents, misuse, repair or alteration carried out on the product

or to damage resulting from failure to follow the user manual.
