Sill Plate Gasket
FoamSealR sill plate gasket is a
simple, effective, long-lasting
solution to air in ltration.
A good percentage of a building’s
heat loss is directly attributable to
air in ltration. A signi cant part of
this loss can be prevented by
using FoamSealR sill plate gasket.
FoamSealR sill plate gasket  lls the
gap between the sill plate and the
foundation wall for a tight,
uniform  t.
Description
FoamSealR sill plate gasket is a
multi-purpose sill plate gasket
which provides resilient sealing in
new and retro t construction.
FoamSealR sill plate gasket is made
of polyethylene foam, offering
exceptional durability and
moisture resistance for years of
energy saving performance.
Product Applications
• Installed between the sill
plate and the foundation wall,
FoamSealR sill plate gasket helps
seal out air, moisture and
insects.
• It also helps stop air, moisture
and insects when installed in
window and door frame
openings or around building
sections or panels.
• Installed under re-siding, it seals
cracks and crevices to reduce
air in ltration.
• In concrete and masonry
construction, it creates an
expansion joint.

Installation
1. Smooth top surface of
foundation wall to have
minimal variation.
2. Unroll FoamSealR sill plate
gasket on top surface of
foundation wall or fasten to
bottom of sill plate on tilt-up
wall sections with ridged side
toward roughest surface.
3. Overlap all end and
perpendicular joints.
4. Pierce FoamSealR sill plate
gasket at anchor bolt locations.
5. Set and anchor sill plate to
foundation wall.

Sill Plate Gasket
Caution: FoamSealR sill plate
gasket is combustible and will
ignite. Do not expose the product
to open  ame during shipping,
storage, installation or use.
Grinding, sawing or fabrication
activities that cut large numbers of
interior foam cells can release
localized amounts of  ammable
residual blowing agent or release
dust particles that under certain
conditions may ignite or form
explosive dust atmospheres.
Breathing dust may be irritating to
eyes, nose and throat. As a
precaution, one may choose to
wear a disposable dust respirator.
This product should be installed in
accordance with applicable
building codes.
