Hathaspace HSP003 Dual Filtration HEPA Air Purifier detects the air quality in real-time and filters out particles, dust, smoke, odors, pet dander, and other harmful substances. The device reports the air quality via a precision laser sensor and a display that shows the live PM index reading. It also features a color-coded light strip that changes colors according to the EPA air quality index score. You can manually set the fan speed or use the auto mode that adjusts the fan speed based on the air quality.

capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning

use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

• Only standard two pin socket is available.

• This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the

risk of an electric shock, this plug is intended to ﬁt in a polarized outlet only one way. If

the plug does not ﬁt fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not ﬁt, contact a

qualiﬁed electrician.

• Hold the plug but not pull the power line when you cut o power, otherwise, it may

cause an electric shock or ﬁre because of a short-circuit.

• Clean the dust on the power line and plug in a timely manner.

• If the power line is damaged, contact the manufacturer or professional engineer to

replace it.

• Don’t use the machine without installing ﬁlters.

• Don’t put anything into the air inlet or air outlet.

• Don’t block the air inlet or air outlet.

• Don’t put the machine close to or above a heating device.

• If it’s smoking or emitting a particular smell, cut the power o immediately.

• If there are oil residues, ﬂames, or chemical smells in the air or room, don’t use the

machine.

• Don’t use machine in an environment ﬁlled with inﬂammable gas like hydrogen or

natural gas to avoid an electric shock, ﬁre, and other damages.

• To reduce the risk of ﬁre or electric shock, do not use this fan with any solid-state

speed control device.

•

Don’t use the machine on uneven surfaces or a bathroom where there is high

temperature or humidity to avoid an electric shock, ﬁre, or other damages.

•

Don’t clean and use the composite ﬁlter repeatedly; clean the machine carefully

because strong corrosive cleaners may destroy the surface of the machine.

•

Use a soft cloth to clean the surface only, otherwise, it may cause damage.

• Don’t use alcohol and organic solvent to clean, otherwise, it may destroy the product

and cause an electric shock or ﬁre.

•

Pull the plug when you don’t use the machine or clean the machine, otherwise, it may

cause an electric shock or ﬁre because of an electrical short circuit.

•

Keep some space around the air puriﬁer so that the wind ﬂows ﬂuidly to improve the

purify eciency.

• This machine is not suitable for the following people: disabled people, perceptual

handicapped, mentally disabled or children.

•

Children climbing is prohibited to prevent them from being injured caused by the

machine falling.

•

Turn o the machine and pull the plug when you move it.

Puriﬁcation Process

Pre-Filter

Captures large particles like hair, dander, debris, etc.

Composite Filter

H13 HEPA Filter: Removes particles from the air, including dust

and smoke.

Activated Carbon Filter: Removes VOCS like formaldehyde and benzene

and unpleasant odors like smoke.

How To Use Air Puriﬁer

Control

Turn the air puriﬁer on/o.

Press for sleep mode, which runs the

machine at reduced power and low

volume while maintaining air quality.

Press Sleep + Light

keys together 3 seconds

to turn on/o childlock.

Turn the front facing display on/o.

Press to set a sleep timer, time options

are shown on the front facing display.

Set fan speed manually. To enter auto-

mode, press and hold fan speed button

for 3 seconds.

+ = Press these 2 buttons together and hold for 3 seconds

to reset the blinking light that indicates the ﬁlter needs

to be changed.

A. The device will turn o automatically when it’s toppled

past 30°, set it right and let it reset before manual shut o.

B. The “ ” blinks white when it’s time to replace your

ﬁlter. This recommendation is based on hours used.

AIR QUALITY FRONT PANEL DISPLAY

A precision laser sensor detects your air

quality in real-time, reporting the true

concentration of particulate matter (PM) in

your air. Consistent with the Air Quality Index

set by the EPA, a display on the top of the unit

shows your live PM index reading, while a

light strip on the front panel changes colors

according to your EPA index score, so you can

see the air quality from across the room.

How to Replace Filter

1. Touch “ “ to turn o the device.

2. Open the ﬁlter cover.

Notice:

a. Filters are classiﬁed as nonﬂammable rubbish.

Dispose of ﬁlters according to local regulations.

b. Your mesh pre-ﬁlter can be used repeatedly, wash and

dry your ﬁlter regularly for optimal performance.

and pull it out.

3. Take the ﬁlters out in proper order, put

used ﬁlters into garbage bags to prevent

contaminants from falling out.

4. When installing the ﬁlter, make sure

it’s facing the right way. It will ﬁt snugly

and easily.

Extend the life of your ﬁlter by using a vacuum cleaner

to occasionally remove dust.

For optimal performance replace your Hathaspace

ﬁlter three times a year.

The mesh pre-ﬁlter is washable, clean the ﬁlter more

often if you have pets!

This ﬁlter does not need to be replaced.

A. In a high use environment the ﬁlter will need to be

replaced more often.

B. Dispose of ﬁlters properly according to local guidelines.

5. To close the cover, match-up the slots on the bottom of the unit and cover so

they align and click into place. Once the cover is closed, it is ok to turn the power

back on.

6. Be sure to reset the “ﬁlter

replacement reminder” after

replacing the ﬁlters (please refer to

instruction on page 07).

A. Please read the ‘Filter Reset’ instructions carefully to

keep better puriﬁcation (page 07).

b. Unplug the unit before cleaning.

c. Please keep the air puriﬁer dry to prevent damage or

electrical issues.

Troubleshooting

If your air puriﬁer is having issues, please check these common problems ﬁrst.

Guidelines:

• Replace ﬁlters every 4 months for optimal performance.

• Do not clean the ﬁlters with water or other liquids. Use a keyboard duster to
