CONEXIÓN
CONEXIÓN CON OTROS DISPOSITIVOS
1. Se recomienda conectar el reproductor a un televisor con multi-sistema.
2. Asegúrese de que el reproductor y los otros dispositivos están apagados y que los cables de poder
están desconectados del tomacorriente.
3. No bloquee las rejillas de ventilación de las unidades y asegúrese de que el aire puede circular
libremente.
4. Lea cuidadosamente las instrucciones antes de hacer las conexiones entre dispositivos.
5. Tenga en cuenta el código de colores para la conexión del audio y el video. Utilice un cable RCA
para conectar los dispositivos.

CONEXIÓN CON LA ANTENA AÉREA
• Al conectar el reproductor a una antena aérea, asegúrese de que los canales de televisión están
disponibles.
• La calidad de la imagen depende de la fuerza de la señal.
• Cuando el reproductor está conectado a la antena aérea evite colocarla donde haya obstáculos muy
grandes, como por ejemplo edificios.
Nota: En algunas áreas la antena interna puede ser diferente. Si la terminal no encaja en el
reproductor, utilice un adaptador para conectar la antena CATV.

CONEXIÓN CON EL ADAPTADOR DEL CARRO
El adaptador para el carro está diseñado para vehículos con un sistema eléctrico tierra negativo de 12V.
No utilice el cargador en vehículos de 24V. Desconecte el adaptador cuando no esté utilizando la
unidad.
PRECAUCIONES
• Utilice la unidad solamente con el cargador recomendado. Utilizarlo con otros cargadores podría
dañar la unidad.
• No utilice el cargador para conectar otros dispositivos similares.
• Recuerde que al conducir toda su atención debe estar en esta actividad. Evite distraerse con la
unidad mientras conduce.
• Asegúrese que la unidad está fija fuertemente para prevenir accidentes.
• Si el orificio del encendedor de cigarrillos está sucio con cenizas, el cargador puede calentarse
demasiado debido al contacto insuficiente. Asegúrese de limpiar el orificio antes de conectar el
cargador.
• Al terminar, desconecte el adaptador del automóvil y de la unidad.

BATERÍA RECARGABLE
El reproductor viene con una batería recargable de litio. Antes de utilizar la unidad, asegúrese de que la
batería está cargada. Si no lo está, cárguela primero. Coloque el interruptor en la posición de apagado y
conecte el cable de poder a la unidad y al tomacorriente para cargar la batería.
Nota
• La batería solo puede ser cargada con la unidad apagada.
• Si la unidad no se va a utilizar por un periodo prolongado, se recomienda cargar la batería al menos
cada 3 meses.

INSTRUCCIONES DE OPERACIÓN
INSTRUCCIONES GENERALES DE REPRODUCCIÓN
PREPARACIÓN
Encienda el televisor y seleccione el modo de entrada de video. Encienda el sistema de audio que esté
conectado al reproductor.
INICIAR
1. Presione el botón de ENCENDIDO para encender el reproductor.
2. Abra el compartimiento de CD con el botón de abrir.
3. Coloque un disco boca-arriba en el compartimiento.
4. Cierre el compartimiento; la unidad comienza a reproducir automáticamente.
5. Cuando el menú aparezca en pantalla, utilice los botones de navegación o los botones numéricos
para elegir una pista de reproducción; luego presione OK para confirmar.
VOLUMEN
Presione el botón de volumen +/- en el control remoto o en la unidad para aumentar y reducir el
volumen.
SIGUIENTE/ANTERIOR
Utilice los botones anterior/siguiente durante la reproducción para saltar de un capítulo a otro (DVD) o
de una pista a otra (CD).
ADELANTAR/RETROCEDER
Durante la reproducción, presione y mantenga los botones adelantar/retroceder para avanzar o
retroceder rápidamente por las pistas. Cada vez que presione los botones avanzará en la siguiente
proporción: 2X, 4X, 8X, 16X, 32X, normal. Presione Play para volver a modo normal.
DETENER
Presione este botón para detener la reproducción. Al presionar el botón solo una vez, la unidad se
detiene pero recuerda el punto donde se detuvo, de tal forma que al presionar Play, va directamente a
este punto. Si desea detener por completo, presione el botón dos veces.
SILENCIADOR
Durante la reproducción, presione este botón para cancelar el audio. Presione de nuevo para activarlo.
CÁMARA LENTA
Presione y mantenga el botón SLOW en el control remoto durante la reproducción. La reproducción se
hará en cámara lenta y cambiará cada vez que presione el botón en las siguientes proporciones: 1/2,
1/4, 1/8, 1/16.
REPRODUCCIÓN CUADRO A CUADRO
Durante la reproducción, presione el botón STEP para reproducir un marco, cada que este botón es
presionado, la unidad reproducirá un marco correspondiente. Presione el botón PLAY/PAUSE para
regresar al modo de reproducción normal.
REPETICIÓN

Presione el botón de repetición durante la reproducción. La unidad repetirá un capítulo o título, o todos
en un DVD, o también una pista o todas las pistas en un CD. También puede utilizar la función de
repetición de segmentos A-B, para hacer una repetición entre dos puntos específicos.
BÚSQUEDA
1. Presione el botón de Búsqueda durante la reproducción, con el fin de ubicar un punto exacto de la
reproducción. Usted debe elegir el Título, Capítulo o pista con los botones de navegación.
2. Introduzca el número deseado o el tiempo con los botones numéricos.
3. Presione OK para confirmar e iniciar la reproducción en ese punto.
4. Para salir de la función, presione de nuevo el botón Búsqueda.
INFORMACIÓN EN PANTALLA
Cuando el reproductor está en operación, presione el botón DISPLAY (Información en pantalla) varias
veces.
La pantalla mostrará información en secuencia.
IDIOMA DE AUDIO (DVD)
Usted puede cambiar el idioma de audio del DVD siempre y cuando el disco traiga esta opción.
Presione el botón Audio durante la reproducción del disco y elija una de las opciones disponibles. Si no
hay ningún idioma grabado, la función estará inactiva.
IDIOMA DE SUBTÍTULOS (SOLO DVD)
Presione el botón el Subtítulos durante la reproducción. La unidad mostrará las opciones disponibles
para que usted elija una de ellas. Tenga en cuenta que esta función solo se activa si el disco cuenta con
función de subtítulos.
REGRESAR AL MENÚ PRINCIPAL Y REPRODUCCIÓN DEL TÍTULO
Durante la reproducción, presione el botón de Menú para regresar al menú principal. Presione el botón
Título para regresar al título.
PROGRAMACIÓN
1. Presione el botón de programación y con el cuadro en pantalla programe hasta 20 pistas.
2. Utilice los botones de navegación para elegir las posiciones de la memoria y los botones numéricos
para introducir el número de título, capítulo o pista.
3. Para iniciar la programación, seleccione START en el menú y luego presione el botón OK
4. Para borrar los ítems programados, presione el botón PROGRAM para ingresar al menú de
programa, presione el botón OK para confirmar. Si desea salir del menú seleccione EXIT y luego
presione OK.
DISCOS DE VIDEO CON CARACTERÍSTICAS PBC
• Después de colocar un VCD 2.0/1.0 con función PBC (Control de Reproducción), la pantalla
mostrará el formato del disco y luego un menú.
• Presione el botón Menú para activar o desactivar la función PBC.
• Utilice los botones anterior/siguiente para cambiar de pista.
• La función de repetición está disponible para repetir una pista o todas las pistas. (Nota: La función

de repetición para un VCD solo se puede utilizar estando la función PBC desactivada).
• Presione el botón Audio para elegir el idioma.
• Utilice la función de cámara lenta con el botón SLOW.
ZOOM
1. Presione el botón Zoom en el control remoto para aumentar o disminuir el tamaño de la imagen.
Cada vez que presione el botón la imagen aumenta en la siguiente proporción: 1/2, 1/3, 1/4
2. Con la imagen ampliada puede utilizar los botones de navegación para moverse a través de ella.
VISTA DE ÁNGULOS MÚLTIPLES
Esta función solo está activa para los DVDs que traigan función de tomas de video desde distintos
ángulos. Presione el botón Ángulo para acceder a esta opción.
REPRODUCCIÓN DE ARCHIVOS MP3 Y MP4
1. Coloque un disco MP3 o MP4 en la unidad. La pantalla mostrará las carpetas contenidas después
de unos segundos.
2. Seleccione una de las carpetas con los botones de navegación y presione OK.
3. Los archivos contenidos dentro de la carpeta se mostrarán igualmente. Utilice los botones de
navegación para elegir una pista. Presione OK para reproducirla.
4. Utilice los botones anterior/siguiente para elegir la pista directamente.
5. Presione el botón de repetición para cambiar el modo de reproducción.
6. Presione los botones VOL+/- en el control remoto ó presione y sostenga este botón en la unidad
para ajustar el volumen.
DISCOS DE IMÁGENES KODAK Y JPEG
1. Coloque un disco de imágenes en la unidad. Una vez se cargue se mostrarán las imágenes
automáticamente.
2. Las carpetas del disco se mostrarán en pantalla. Utilice los botones de navegación para elegir uno
de estas carpetas, y luego presione el botón OK para confirmar.
3. Luego se mostrarán los archivos dentro de cada carpeta. Use los botones de navegación para
moverse a través de los archivos, y presione OK para abrirlo.
MODOS DE REPRODUCCIÓN Presione el botón de Repetición durante la reproducción para cambiar
los modos de reproducción. Durante la reproducción, presione Detener para ir al modo de vista previa.
ANTERIOR/SIGUIENTE Utilice los botones anterior/siguiente para cambiar de imagen.
GIRO Utilice los botones de navegación derecha/izquierda para girar las imágenes de derecha a
izquierda.
ROTACIÓN Utilice el botón de navegación arriba para voltear las imágenes de manera vertical y el
botón de navegación abajo para voltearlas de manera horizontal.
ZOOM Presione el botón Zoom en el control remoto para aumentar o disminuir el tamaño de la imagen.
Con la imagen ampliada puede utilizar los botones de navegación para moverse a través de ella.
OPERACIÓN DEL TELEVISOR

INICIAR
Asegúrese de que el reproductor esté bien conectado a la antena de televisión. Encienda el reproductor
y presione el botón DVD/TV en el control remoto o el botón DVD/TV/CONFIGURACIÓN en la unidad
para cambiar a modo de TV.
VOLUMEN
Presione los botones de volumen +/- para aumentar o reducir el volumen.
BUSCAR UN CANAL
Utilice los botones de navegación arriba/abajo para subir o bajar de canal.
Para seleccionar el canal directamente, ingrese el numero del canal con los botones numéricos del
control remoto.
MENÚ DE CONFIGURACIÓN DE TV
1. Presione el botón de configuración para mostrar el menú.
2. Utilice los botones de navegación para moverse a través de las opciones y el botón OK para
confirmar.
3. Al terminar de hacer los ajustes de un submenú, repita la operación con el siguiente submenú.
4. Presione de nuevo el botón de Configuración para salir de la interface.
CONFIGURACIÓN GENERAL
• Pantalla de TV: Es usado para seleccionar el modo de TV. Ajústelo de acuerdo a su Televisor.

• Marca de ángulo: Selecciónelo si desea que el icono de ángulo sea mostrado en la pantalla o no.
Opciones: ON: mostrar marca de ángulo
OFF: esconder ángulo de marca
• Idioma OSD: Úselo para cambiar el idioma en pantalla
• Protector de pantalla: cuando la unidad no es usada por algunos minutos, el logo de DVD se
moverá a través de la pantalla para prtegerla.
Opciones: ON: Activar
OFF: Desactivar
CONFIGURACIÓN DE AUDIO

Opciones: Lt/Rt – Modo de mezcla Izquierdo/Derecho
Estereo – Seleccione esta opción si no tiene un amplificador de 5.1 canales

PAGINA DE PREFERENCIAS (SOLO DVD)
Siga los siguientes pasos para ingresar a la pagina de preferencias:
1. Encienda la unidad con la bandeja de discos vacía y abierta, presione el botón de configuración e
ingrese a la pagina del sistema presionando los botones de navegación ó,
2. Durante la reproducción, presione el botón STOP 2 veces y luego presione el botón de configuración
para ingresar a la pagina de configuración del sistema.
• Tipo de TV: seleccione de acuerdo al tipo de su televisor
• Audio: seleccione el idioma de audio favorito
• Subtitulo: seleccione el idioma de subtitulo favorito
• Menú de disco: seleccione el idioma de menú de disco preferido
• Control parental: seleccione los niveles de clasificación
• Contraseña:
Opción: Cambiar – Selecciónelo para cambiar la contraseña
Para cambiar la contraseña, siga los siguientes pasos:
1. Ingrese la contraseña anterior
2. Ingrese la nueva contraseña
3. Ingrese la nueva contraseña de nuevo
La contraseña del usuario es “0000”. Puede restablecer la contraseña en caso de haberla olvidado,
usando la contraseña de supervisor: “1389”
• Restablecer: Regresar a los valores iniciales de fabrica
CUIDADO Y MANTENIMIENTO DE LOS DISCOS
• Coja los discos por los bordes y sin tocar la superficie láser ya que las huellas dactilares causan que
los discos se salten o no se lean.
• No escriba sobre la etiqueta de los discos.
• No utilice ningún elemento químico fuerte limpiar los discos, como por ejemplo benzina, tiner o
alcohol.
• No doble los discos ni permita que se golpeen.
• No intente cerrar el compartimiento de los discos si aún no está bien puesto.
• Asegúrese de guardar el disco en su caja cuando no esté en uso.

RESOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS
Esta lista es para ayudarle a resolver problemas simples que pueden presentarse en el uso de la
unidad. Por favor léala y verifique estos puntos antes de solicitar ayuda de personal de servicio técnico
autorizado.
PROBLEMA

La unidad no enciende o se apaga de
repente
•
Asegúrese de que el cable de poder esté bien
conectado. Apague la unidad e intente de nuevo.
No hay imagen ó sonido
• Verifique la conexión de los cables de audio y video.
• Verifique que el disco sea compatible con la unidad.
• Observe si el disco está dañado o rayado, y que no
esté puesto al revés.
• El lente del DVD puede estar sucio. Puede contactar
al servicio técnico para limpieza.
• Verifique que el TV está en el modo de video o modo
AV.
No hay imagen y sonido
• Verifique que el cable este correctamente conectado
No hay sonido
• Asegúrese que la el panel de pantalla esté abierta,
de lo contrario, no saldrá sonido.
• Verifique que el volumen no esté en cero.
•
Los audífonos deben estar conectados
correctamente.
• No se pueden utilizar parlantes y audífonos al mismo
tiempo.
El video o el sonido está distorsionado
• Observe que el disco no esté rayado o doblado
INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
• No permita que la unidad se moje o se salpique con líquidos.
• Evite exponer la unidad a fuentes de calor. Así mismo evite colocar candelabros o velas encendidas
sobre ella.
• Mantenga una distancia libre mínima de 2 centímetros alrededor de la unidad.
• Permita la ventilación de la unidad y no coloque objetos encima o alrededor que la obstruyan.
• No coloque fuentes de calor como encendedores o fuego cerca de la unidad.
• No utilice la unidad si el cable de poder está dañado de forma alguna.
• La unidad está diseñada para ser utilizada en climas tropicales o moderados.
• La batería no debe ser expuesta a fuentes de calor.
• Un ajuste de volumen muy alto puede causar perdida de audición.
• No intente reparar la unidad usted mismo. Remita toda revisión, mantenimiento y reparación a
personal de servicio técnico calificado.

BASIC CONNECTION
! It is recommended to connect a multi-system TV.
! Ensure that this player and other equipment to be connected are set to OFF mode and disconnect the
AC/DC adapter before commencing connection.
! Do not block ventilation holes of any of the equipment and arrange them so that air can circulate
freely.
! Read through the instructions before connecting other equipment.
! Ensure that you observe the color coding when connecting audio, video cables. If the RCA adapter is
supplied only, the audio/video RCA cable is required. Plug one end of the RCA adapter to the unit.
Then connect the audio/video RCA cable to the RCA adapter and the television.
Note:
! During DVD play, the TV volume may be at a lower level than during TV broadcasts, etc. If this is the
case, adjust the volume to the desired level.
! If the DVD/VCD/CD player is connected to the TV through a video cassette recorder, the picture may
not be played back normally with some DVDs. If this is the case, do not connect the player via the
VCR.

1. When this player is connected to the outdoor aerial, make sure that the TV programme is available
from the signal tower.
2. The quality of video depends on the signal strength.
3. When this player is connect to the outdoor aerial, in avoid that the huge buildings or obstacle would
block the signal.
Note: In some areas the indoor aerial terminal may different, if the terminal is not fitted to your player, a
connector is available for you to connect between CATV and player. Please refer to the above
illustration.
CONNECTING TO A CAR ADAPTOR
The car power adaptor is designed for use with vehicles that have a 12V, negative ground electrical
system.
WARNING:
Disconnect the car power adaptor when not in use. Not in use in 24V vehicles.
CAUTIONS:
! Use the unit only with the recommended car power adaptor, use with other car power adaptor might
damage the unit.
! The recommended car power adaptor is for use with this unit only. Do not use it with other equipment.
! In the interests of road traffic safety, do not operate the unit or view video software while driving a
vehicle.
! Make sure the unit is fastened securely to prevent from moving outside of the vehicle in an accident.
! When the inside of the cigarette lighter socket is dirty with ashes or dust, the plug section may
become hot due to poor contact. Be sure to clean the cigarette lighter socket before use.
! After use, disconnect the car power adaptor from both the unit and cigarette lighter socket.

NOTE: Don't throw out the positive(+) cap when replace the fuse.
CHARGE THE BUILT-IN BATTERY
The player is with a rechargeable lithium battery. Before using the battery, please make sure it is
charged. If not, charge it first. Slide the power switch to OFF position and then connect one end of the
supplied adapter to the wall outlet and the other end to the unit for charging the built-in battery.

Note:
1. The battery only could be charged at powering off mode.
2. If the unit is not in use for a prolonged period of time, it is recommendable to charge the built-in
battery each three months.
OPERATIONS
PREPARATION
Power on the TV set and select video input mode.
Power on the audio system which is connected to the player
GET STARTED
1. Slide the POWER ON/OFF switch to turn on the player.
2. Press disc cover OPEN key to open the disc cover, and then place the disc onto the disc tray.
3. Close the disc tray and the playback starts automatically.
4. When a menu screen appears on the TV, move the navigation buttons to select a preferred track
number, then press OK button to start playback.
ADJUST THE VOLUME
During disc playback, press VOL +/- button to increase or reduce the volume level.
SKIP AHEAD OR BACK
Press NEXT or PREVIOUS button once during play to skip a chapter (DVD) or a track (CD) ahead or
backwards.
RAPID ADVANCE/REVERSE
During playback, press and hold FAST FORWARD or FAST BACKWARD button on the unit or press
FAST FORWARD or FAST BACKWARD on the remote several times to scan the disc forward or
backward at X2, X4, X8, X16,X32 of normal speed.
Press PLAY/PAUSE button to resume normal play.
STOP PLAYBACK
Press STOP button during playback to stop playback; the player activates its resume function when
STOP is pressed in STOP mode; press PLAY/PAUSE button again, playback resumes at the point it
stopped previously; open the disc tray or press the STOP button one more time to clear the resume
function.
SLOW-MOTION PLAY (DVD)
Press SLOW button on the remote control during playback, the Disc will be played at 1/2 of normal
speed at first, each time this button is pressed, the play speed becomes slower at 1/4,1/8 and 1/16
speed.
STEP PLAY
During playback, press STEP button to play one frame, each time the STEP button is pressed, the
player will play a corresponding frame; to resume normal play, press PLAY/PAUSE button.
MUTE PLAY
During playback, press MUTE button to shut the audio output off. To resume the normal play, press
MUTE button again.

REPEAT
Press REPEAT 1/ALL button during playback, it will repeat play one chapter/title or repeat all (for DVD
disc), or repeat play a track or all tracks (CD), or press REPEAT A-B button to repeat play the sections
between two specific points(A-B).
SEARCH FOR PREFERRED SCENE
1. Press SEARCH button several times during play to show different Search mode.
2. Input the desired number or time via the numeric buttons.
3. Press OK button to confirm and the playback from the located scene starts.
4. If not any input, the search menu will disappear automatically.
ON SCREEN DISPLAY INFORMATION
When the player is in operation, press DISPLAY button continuously, the screen will display parts of
information in a sequence.
CHANGING AUDIO SOUNDTRACK LANGUAGE (DVD)
It is possible to change the audio soundtrack language to a different language from the one selected at
the initial settings (This operation works only with discs on which multiple audio soundtrack languages
are recorded).
Press AUDIO button to change the sound track language during DVD disc play.
NOTE: When no soundtrack languages are recorded, pressing this button will not work.
CHANGING SUBTITLE LANGUAGE (DVD ONLY)
Press SUBTITLE button during playback, the subtitle language will change on the screen as a response
to each press; When the desired language appears, release the button to view the subtitle in that
language.
Note: this function only works on the DVDs recorded with multi-language subtitles.
RETURN TO MAIN MENU AND PLAY THE TITLE
During playback, press DVD MENU button to return to the menu and press TITLE button to play the title.
ENJOYING VIDEO CDS WITH PBC FEATURE
After loading a VCD 2.0/1.0 with PBC, the TV screen shows the Disc formats and then a menu.
Press MENU button to select PBC ON/OFF mode.
Press PREVIOUS or NEXT button once during play to skip a track ahead or backwards.
Press SLOW button on the remote control during playback, the Disc will be played at 1/2 of normal
speed at first, each time this button is pressed, the play speed becomes slower at 1/4, 1/8 and 1/16
speed.
Press REPEAT 1/ALL button during playback, it will repeat play a track or all tracks, or press REPEAT
A-B button to repeat play the sections between two specific points(A-B).
Note: Repeat features for VCD Disc will only work in PBC off mode.
Pressing AUDIO button during VCD disc play will change audio output mode.
PROGRAM PLAY (UP TO 20 MEMORIES)
1. Press PROGRAM during playback to display the program menu.
2. Select location(s) to be memorized via navigation buttons and then enter desired

Titles/Chapters/tracks numbers via numeric buttons.
Note: Some figure inputs may be useless, because it's greater figure than total title/chapter/track
number on the disc. To programme another ten tracks by selecting NEXT button. Up to 20 tracks can
be programmed.
Example: Track 3, press "0" and then"3"
Track 12, press "1" and then "2"
Track 21, press "2" and then "1"
3. To start programmed playback, scroll START on the menu and then press OK button.
4. To clear all programmed item, first of all, press PROGRAM button to enter the program menu, by now
it will highlight STOP on the menu, press OK button once to confirm, then EXIT on the menu will be
highlighted, press OK button again to clear all the programmed item.
ZOOM PLAY
Press the ZOOM key continuously to zoom in the picture by 2, 3, and 4 times, or zoom out 1/2, 1/3, 1/4
of the normal playback size.
Scroll to view the enlarged picture using Navigation buttons.
MULTI-ANGLE VIEWING (DVD ONLY)
Press ANGLE button during playback to select a desired angle to view the scene.
Note: only the DVDs shot with multi-angle scenes have this function.
MP3/MPEG 4 PLAYBACK
1. Load the MP3/MPEG 4 disc onto the disc tray and the TV screen will show all its folders after a few
seconds.
2. Select the folder you want by the navigation buttons and then OK button to confirm.
3. The files in this folder are displayed and select your favourable song via navigation buttons and press
OK button to start playback.
4. Press NEXT and PREVIOUS button to select track directly.
5. Press REPEAT1/ALL button or REPEAT A-B button to change play mode.
6. During MP3 playback, press VOL+/- button on the remote or press and hold VOL+/- button on the unit
to adjust the volume output.
KODAK PICTURE CD / JPEG CD PLAYBACK
Slide show of Kodak Picture CD after being loaded begins automatically.
Folders of JPEG picture CD after being loaded are displayed on the TV screen; use the navigation
buttons to select the desired folder and then press OK button to confirm.
The files in this folder are displayed and you can select your favourable pictures using the up/down
navigation buttons and press OK button to start playback.
KODAK PICTURE CD/JPEG CD OPERATIONS
1. PLAY MODES
Press REPEAT1/ALL button to change play mode.
During playback, press STOP button to stop picture playback.
2. SKIP TO NEXT/PREVIOUS PICTURE
Press NEXT button to skip to the next picture or PREVIOUS button to the previous picture.
3. PICTURE ROTATIONS

Press RIGHT and LEFT navigation buttons to rotate the picture Clockwise and anti-clockwise
respectively.
4. PICTURE FLIPS
Press UP NAVIGATION button to flip the picture vertically.
Press DOWN NAVIGATION button to flip the picture horizontally.
5. PICTURE ZOOM IN/OUT
Press ZOOM button continuously ,the picture zooms in and out.
If the picture is enlarged, you may use the navigation buttons to view blocked parts of the picture.
EXTERNAL MEMORY MEDIA OPERATION (USB&SD/MMC CARD)
Prepare the player for External Memory media operation
1. Slide the POWER switch to ON position, plug a USB data traveller filled with Audio/video files into the
USB port or Insert the SD/MMC card with the label side facing up into the card slot, the USB or the
SD/MMC card is successfully detected and read after a few seconds, at the same time, the TV screen
will show all its folders.
2. You may play the files stored in the storage media much in the same way as you do the Mp3 disc.
Note: Press DVD/USB/CARD button to switch among disc, USB and card modes directly if the USB or
card is inserted into the unit.
CAUTION: To avoid electronic static discharge, don't touch the USB port and card slot during playback.
(The max. 32G memory size of USB/SD which can be supported.)
TV OPERATIONS
GET STARTED
Be sure your player is connected to the TV antenna properly;
Power on the player and press the TV/DVD button on the remote or press and hold DVD/TV&SETUP
button on the unit to switch to TV Mode.
Before operate the TV, please search the TV channels first as the below instructions of the video setup
page.
SEARCH A PROGRAM
Press navigation UP/DOWN button once, the channel number changes. A desired channel can be
reached using these two keys.
Once the desired channel is selected, it will start broadcasting the selected channel immediately.
To select channel directly by inputting the channel number via numeric buttons.
INITIAL SETTINGS
Initial settings page is for you to make your preferred settings up for your player. Once the initial settings
are done they are retained in the CPU of the player until otherwise modified.
COMMON PROCEDURES FOR INITIAL SETTINGS
1. Press SETUP button.
2. Use the navigation buttons to select the item you want to modify, press OK button to confirm, setting
page with further setting items displayed shows on the TV screen. Again use navigation buttons to
make changes. Press again OK button to confirm modifications.
3. Use navigation buttons to switch to another setting on the main setting page.
4. Press SETUP button to exit main setting page.

1. GENERAL SETUP PAGE
1.1 TV DISPLAY - it is used to select the TV scan mode, please set as per your TV set.

1.2 ANGLE MARK - it is used to select whether the multi-angle icon is displayed on the screen or not
when a multi-angle DVD disc is playing.
Options: On: Show the angle mark
Off: Hide the angle mark
1.3 OSD LANGUAGE - it is used to select different On Screen Display language for different user.
1.4 SCREEN SAVER - when the player is not in used for several minutes, a running DVD logo will move
across the TV screen to protect the TV screen.
Options: On: Screen saver is enabled
Off: Screen saver is disabled
2. AUDIO SETUP PAGE (DVD ONLY)
2.1 DOWNMIX
Options: Lt/Rt - Left/Right mix mode
Stereo - Select this option if you don't have a 5.1 channels amplifier.
3. VIDEO SETUP PAGE
3.1 BRIGHTNESS - to set the brightness for display.
3.2 CONTRAST - to set the contrast effect for display.
3.3 HUE - to set the hue for display.
3.4 SATURATION - to set the saturation for display.
3.5 TV - It is used to set the TV.(The item is only available at TV mode). Highlight the TV item, and enter
it by pressing OK button. There are two items showing on the screen as below:
Auto Search- Select it to proceed the auto search.
TV System- it is used to select a corresponding TV system for your TV receiver.
4. PREFERENCE PAGE (DVD ONLY)
Please follow the below steps to enter the System Page: First, power on the unit with the disc tray is
empty or the disc door is opened, then press SETUP button and enter the System Page by pressing
NAVIGATION buttons. Or during playback, press STOP button twice, and then press SETUP button to
enter system setup page.
4.1 TV TYPE - it is used to select the TV mode.
Please select this option as per your TV set.
4.2 AUDIO - select preferred audio language.
(DVD only - need disc software support)
4.3 SUBTITLE - select preferred subtitle language.
(DVD only - need disc software support)
4.4 DISC MENU - select preferred disc menu language.
(DVD only - need disc software support)
4.5 PARENTAL - select rating levels.
(DVD only - need disc software support)
4.6 PASSWORD

Option: Change-Select it to change password.
Procedure to change password as following:
1) Enter old password in the Old Password row
2) Enter new password in the New Password row
3) Enter the new password again in the Confirm Pwd row
The user password is "0000". You may reset the password if you forget the old password by using the
supervisor password: 1389
4.7 DEFAULT - Reset to factory settings.
DISC HANDLING PRECAUTIONS
! Hold the disc by the edge so the surface will not be soiled with finger prints. Finger prints,
dirt and scratches can cause skipping and distortion.
! Do not write on the label side with a ball-point pen or other writing utensils.
! Do not apply benzine, thinner, and liquid that prevents against static electricity.
! Be careful not to drop or bend the disc.
! Install only one disc on the disc tray.
! Do not try to close the disc tray when the disc is not installed properly.
! Be sure to store the disc in its case when not in use.

TROUBLESHOOTING
If your DVD player does not seem to be functioning properly, check the items below before you contact
an authorized service center.

Make sure the AC/DC adapter is securely plugged into an AC

! Turn the power off and then back on.
No picture or sound ! Check that the A/V cables are securely connected.
! Check that the disc is a DVD, DVD-RW or AUDIO CD.
! Do not use a disc that has scratches or dirt.
! Check that the label-side of the disc is facing up.
! The pick-up lens of the DVD player may be dirty. Contact the
service center for lens cleaning.

Check that the TV channel is set to VIDEO or AV if viewing with a

No sound
!
Check that the display panel is open. If it is closed, audio will not
be output to the speakers.
! Check the volume setting. If set to zero, turn up volume level.
! Check that the headphones are plugged into the PHONE socket.
Speakers cannot be used with the headphones.
No picture and sound ! Check the AC/DC adapter is properly connected.
Distorted video or
sound
!
Use a disc without scratches or dents.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
! The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects filled with liquids,
such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.
! When AC/DC adapter is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily
operable. To be completely disconnected the power input, the AC/DC adapter shall be disconnected
from the mains completely.
! No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the apparatus.
! Minimum distances 2.0cm around the apparatus for sufficient ventilation. The ventilation should not
be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items, such as newspapers, table-cloths,
curtains, etc.
! The use of apparatus is in tropical and/or moderate climates.
! Attention should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.
! CAUTION: Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or
equivalent type.
! Battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
! Excessive sound pressure from earphones and headphones can cause hearing loss.
