INSTALLING HEAD

Remove the battery pack from the power handle or
disconnectfrompowersupply.
Placetheheadonthepowerhandleandpushuntilthe
latchesclickintoposition.Pullontheheadtomakesure
itissecurelyinstalledbeforeproceeding.
NOTE: Theheadcanbeinstalledat90°anglestobestsuit
yourapplicationneeds.
INSTALLING BITS
See Figure 2.
Remove the battery pack from the power handle or
disconnectfrompowersupply.
Pullthecouplerawayfromtheimpactdriverhead(1).
Insertdriverbittobeusedintothecoupler(2).
Releasethecoupler(3).
Pullon thebittomakesureitissecuredinthecoupler.
Theremaybesomeplayintheinstalledbit;thisisnormal.
NOTE: Useonlyimpactqualitybitswithalockinggroove.
WARNING:
Makesurethebitissecuredinthecouplerbefore
usingtheimpactdriver.Failuretodosocouldcause
seriouspersonalinjury.
REMOVING BITS
See Figure 2.
Remove the battery pack from the power handle or
disconnectfrompowersupply.
Pullthecouplerawayfromtheimpactdriverhead.
Removedriverbitfromthecoupler.
CAUTION:
Theimpactdriverisnotdesignedtobeusedasa
drill.
DRIVING OR REMOVING SCREWS
See Figure 3.
Place the direction of rotation selector in thecorrect
positionfortheoperation.
Placethebitonthescrewheadandslowlydepressthe
switchtrigger.Startthebitslowlyformorecontrol.
Asscrewisdriven,impactingwillbegin.
WARNING:
Do not drive a screw where there is likely to be
hiddenwiring behind thesurface.Contact with a
“live”wirewillmakeexposedmetalpartsofthetool
“live”andpossiblyshocktheoperator.Ifyoumust
driveascrewwherehiddenwiremaybepresent,
always hold tool by insulated gripping surfaces
(handle)whenperformingtheoperationtoprevent
ashocktotheoperator,asseeninfigure3.
