1. Choose location to install Screen Door Opener:
a. From outside, close screen door and slide.
b. Mark location to drill on exterior side of slide.
c. When slide is closed completely, hole should be
centered directly above screen door handle
(see figure 1).
d. Hole must be drilled on flat area (do not mark or drill
through bend or angle in slide (see figure 1).
e. Carefully drill hole with 9/16” bit
(recommend drilling smaller pilot hole first).
2. Gently ease endcap and grommet off latch.
3. From interior side of screen door, insert grommet into
drilled hole with grommet hole angled downward
(see figure 2).
4. Slide latch through hole and reattach endcap
(see figure 3).
5. Adjust latch until it moves up and down freely when
exterior RV door is closed (see figure 4). If desired,
add 1 drop super glue between latch and grommet to
permanently fix location.
