1. Create driver disk – Extract the contents of the tgz file onto a formatted floppy
disk under Linux OS called Fast Trak Driver Disk .
2. Install the FastTrak Series Linux Driver into System
A. Use Red Hat 7.1 CD-Disk boot system .
B. At “ boot: “ prompt type – linux ide2=0 ide3=0 ide4=0 ide5=0 ide6=0 ide7=0
ide8=0 ide9=0 expert ( Enter )
C. Load driver from floppy .
D. When the LILO configuration screen is displayed ,in the Kernel parameters
field type – ide2=0 ide3=0 ide4=0 ide5=0 ide6=0 ide7=0 ide8=0 ide9=0
E. Continue with the manually .
