Setup
AssemblingtheBlower
Installtheblowertubeandthentheinletcoverontotheblowerhousing.
Important:Youmustinstalltheblowertubebeforeinstallingthe
inletcoverbecausetheinletcoverhooksontotheblowertube.
Theblowerwillnotrununlessthebottominletcoverislocked
inplace.
ConvertingfromBlowertoVacuum
Theimpellerrotatesforafewsecondsafteryouturnoffthe
blowerandcancutorinjurengers.
Donotremovethebottominletcoverwhenthemotoris
runningorwhentheunitispluggedintoapoweroutlet.

Important:Thisblowerisintendedforoutdoor,residentialuse
only.Donotuseitindoorsorforcommercialorindustrial
purposes.
ConnectingtoaPowerSource
Toreducetheriskofelectricshock,thisappliancehasapolarized
plug(i.e.,onebladeiswiderthantheother).Useonlyapolarized,
ULlisted(CSAcertiedinCanada)extensioncordrecommended
foroutdooruse.Apolarizedplugwilltinapolarizedcordonlyone
way.Iftheplugdoesnottfullyinthecord,reversethecord.Ifit
stilldoesnott,purchaseapolarizedextensioncord.Ifyouhavea
polarizedextensioncordandtheextensioncordplugdoesnottfully
intothewallreceptacle,reversetheplug.Ifitstilldoesnott,contact
aqualiedelectriciantoinstalltheproperoutlet.Donotchangethe

Installtheconcentratornozzleintotheblowertubetohelpreachinto
narrowspacesortoremovematteddebrisfromhardsurfaces.
Removetheconcentratornozzlewhennished.
UsingtheBlower
Theblowerisintendedforresidentialuseonly.Usetheblower
outdoorstomovedebrisasneeded.
Theblowercanthrowdebris,possiblycausingserious
personalinjurytotheoperatororbystanders.
Donotblowhardobjectssuchasnails,bolts,orrocks.
Donotoperatetheblowernearbystandersorpets.
Useextracarewhencleaningdebrisfromstairsorother
tightareas.
Wearsafetygogglesorothersuitableeyeprotection,
longpants,andshoes.
UsingtheVacuum
Thevacuumcanthrowdebris,possiblycausingserious
personalinjurytotheoperatororbystanders.
Donotoperatethevacuumwithoutthebaginstalledor
withthebagzipperopen.
Donotvacuumsharp,pointed,orhardobjectsthatcould
bethrownthroughthefabricofthebag,suchaswires,
staples,nails,orrocks.
Important:Vacuumonlyleavesandsoftitems.Harditemssuch
assticks,rocks,acorns,andpineconeswilldamagetheimpeller.
Important:Donotforcethevacuumtubeintoapileofdebrisor
holdthetubeuprightwhileforcefeedingdebrisintothetube.
Eitheractionmaycloganddamagetheimpeller.Ifthevacuum
startstovibrateormakeabnormalnoise,stopit,unplugthecord,
andcheckforthecause.

EmptyingtheBag
1.Turnoffandunplugthevacuumfromthepowersource.
2.Emptyanydebrisfromthebag.
Donotstoredebrisinthebag.Tocleanthebag,turnitinsideout
andshakeoutanyexcessdebris.Onceayear,handwashthe
baginsoapywaterandallowittoairdry.
Normalusageofthebagcausesittowearanddeteriorate
overtime.Awornordeterioratedbagallowssmallobjects
tobethrownthroughthebag,possiblyinjuringtheoperator
orbystanders.
Checkthebagfrequently.Ifitiswornordeteriorated,replace
itwithagenuineTorovacuumbag.
RemovingCloggedDebrisfromthe
Impeller
1.Turnoffandunplugthevacuumfromthepowersourceandwait
forallmovingpartstostop.
2.Removethevacuumtube.

3.Removethedebrisfromimpellerblades.
4.Checktheimpellerforanysignsofdamage.Ifitisdamaged,
contactyourAuthorizedToroDealer.
5.Installthevacuumtubeor,ifyouwanttoswitchtoblowermode,
thebottominletcover.RefertoConvertingfromBlowertoVacuum
orConvertingfromVacuumtoBlowerformoreinformation.

Ensurethatthebottominletcoverorvacuumtubeislockedin
place.
Ensurethatthepowercordissecuredinplaceonthebackofthe
