1. The valve body and insert should always
be handled with the utmost care. Keep
the valve in its original packing until nal
use. Any damage may result in malfunc-
tion of the valve.
2. Lubricate the valve insert by dipping it
in water.
3. Make sure that the valve house is free of
slag and chips. Apply the insert and
tighten it by hand.
Note! The convector temperature must
not exceed 70° C, when applying the
insert.

4. Tighten the insert with a 21M spanner,
max. torque 30 Nm ± 10%.
5. To ensure a closing measure of 30.4 ± 0.4 mm, load the spindle until stop (with a force
of 3 kg ) and measure as shown. A special control tool is available.

6. Make sure that the insert surface (Ø 25
mm) is approx. 0.5 mm beneath the
garniture surface.
7. A leak test has to be carried out
according to procedures stated by the
convector manufacturer.
8. Fit green protection cap and tighten by
hand. Keep the protecting cap in place,
while painting the convector and until
radiator is installed.
