The EPS is dedicated to warehouse trucks (pallet
trucks, pallet stackers, order pickers, reach trucks
and high rack stackers), but can also be used on
other battery vehicles.
Application
Function
The EPS system constitutes of only two parts:
A small steering reference sensor and a compact
steering actuator.
The steering reference sensor converts the
motion of the steering demand into an electric
signal. It can be mounted on a mini steering
wheel or a tiller arm.
The steering actuator pivots the steered wheel
via a chain or a pinion. It consists of a
maintenance free brushless AC-motor, a cycloidal
gear, a programmable controller with CAN, an
inverter, plus unique built-in end stop and
position feedback sensors.
