A - Safety instructions
• Carefully read the instruction leaflet before first use.
• For your safety, this appliance complies with applicable standards and
regulations.
• This appliance is not designed to be used by people (including children)
with reduced physical, sensorial or mental capacities, or by people with no
prior experience or knowledge, except where they have been able to benefit
from supervision or previous instruction relating to use of the appliance
from a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be watched over to make certain they do not play with the
appliance.
• Disconnect the appliance’s plug after each use.
• Stop the appliance and disconnect the power supply before changing
accessories or approaching those parts that are in movement during
operation.
• The motor unit must not be immersed in water or any other liquid. Do not
rinse it either.
• Do not exceed the maximum quantities or stated operating times.
• It is designed to operate only with a.c. supply. Please check that the
network voltage corresponds to that shown on the appliance’s rating
plate before using it. Any error in connection will cancel the terms of your
warranty.
• Do not place or use this appliance on a hot plate or close to a flame (gas
cooker).
• Disconnect the appliance :
* if there is an irregularity during operation
* before each cleaning or maintenance
* after use.
• Never disconnect the appliance by pulling on the power supply cable.
• Only use an extension after having checked that it is in perfect condition.
• Do not use a household electrical appliance if it has been dropped.
• If the power supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, an approved after-sales service centre or a person with
similar qualifications to avoid any risks of accidents.
• This product has been designed for domestic use only. In the event of
any professional use, inappropriate use or failure to comply with the
instructions, the manufacturer will accept no responsibility and the
warranty will not apply.
• The product’s rating plate and main characteristics are shown on the
underside of the appliance.

C - Before first use
• Take the coffee grinder out of its packing and clean the lid C with hot
water.
• Wipe the bowl B with a dry or slightly moist cloth.
D - Use
• Place the motor unit A on a flat, clean and dry surface.
Choose the appropriate blade according to the type of ingredient you want
to grind (E for coffee and F for spices) and fit it to the bowl B as shown in
Fig. 2.
Place the ingredients to be ground in the bowl B.
Lock the lid C on bowl B.
Connect your appliance to the mains power supply.
Press the start button for a few seconds and then press repeatedly a
number of times for best results.
Do not run your grinder continuously for more than 30 seconds.
Before opening the lid C, wait for the blade to come to a complete stop.
Disconnect your appliance electrically before cleaning.
Don’t grind moisture ingredients.
E - Recipes
Grinding coffee
Ingredient: Coffee beans – maximum capacity of bowl B: 80 grams.
Accessory: Coffee blade E and maximum time of 30 seconds operation.
Grinding spices
Ingredients: Almonds, hazelnuts, pepper, cinnamon ... - maximum capacity
of bowl B: 80 grams:
Accessory: Spice blade F and maximum time of 30 seconds operation.

F - Maintenance
• Disconnect the appliance.
• Clean the appliance with a dry or slightly moist cloth.
• Do not use a scouring pad or objects containing metallic parts.
• The motor unit must not be immersed in water.
• Do not wash any part of your coffee grinder in the dishwasher.
G - Repair
• First check the electrical connection and then that the lid is correctly locked
onto the motor unit.
Your coffee grinder will not operate if these instructions are not respected.
If you have carefully followed all these instructions and your appliance still
fails to operate, please contact your retailer or a SEB TEFAL Group certified
centre.
H - Electrical or electronic product at end of
service life
Do you part to protect the environment!
Your appliance contains valuable materials which can be recovered
or recycled.
Take it to a local civic waste collection point or, if there is none, to an
authorised service centre for processing.
