Thank you for choosing GSmart MD800
ExpressCard. The application will be
automatically installed in your MD800. When
you plug in to your PC, you can connect
HSDPA, UMTS, EDGE and GPRS. Also can
send and receive messages.

What’s in the box?
GSmart MD800:
Insert this into an Express Card slot if
available.
USB Accessories:
GSmart MD800 USB Adaptor Casing:
Insert the MD800 into this case if no Express
Card slot and connect it to the PC with the
USB Cable.
USB Y Cable:
Insert the small end into the Adaptor Casing
and the large end into the PC.
Notebook Screen Hook:
Secure the MD800 to a laptop computer
screen.
Screen Hook Protector:
It can protect your notebook not to be scraped.
Insert SIM Card
1. Face the gold contact points toward each
other.
2. Insert the SIM card into the slot.
3. Push the card in until it reaches the end of
the arrow next to the slot.
Installing your GSmart MD800
With the SIM card properly inserted, the
MD800 may now be installed into the computer,
which may be done via Express Card slot or
USB port.

Express Card Slot
1. Slide the MD800 into the slot (SIM card side
down, LED side up).
2. The LED should light up when connection is
established.
USB
1. Slide the MD800 into the USB adaptor
casing (USB adaptor label & MD800 LED
side up).
2. Insert the small USB plugs into the adaptor
casing. Insert the USB plugs into the
computer.
3. The LED should light up when connection is
established, though it may be obscured.
Starting ExpressCard
1. Select Start Æ All Programs Æ GSmart Æ
GSmart ExpressCard.
2. When the screen opens. If requested, enter
your PIN and press Apply.
Creating a connection
1. From the main screen, select Profile.
2. There are two ways for you to use, select
Mode or Edit Mode.
3. In Select Mode, you have to choose country
and carrier name, then press Apply.
4. In Edit Mode, enter the necessary
information and press Apply.

Information: Device, Version specifics.
