• ALL INSTALLATION WORK SHOULD BE DONE BY ACCREDITED PROFESSIONAL.

• SHUT OFF POWER SUPPLY AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER!

• USE ONLY THE SPECIFIED BULBS. DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE!

PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION

Remove all of the contents from the carton. See the important notes

above. Shut off the power at the circuit breaker and completely remove

the old xture from the ceiling, including the old mounting strap.

1. Take the mounting strap assembly from the parts bag. Mounting strap (B)

should have mounting screws (A) attached. You may need to tighten hex nuts

2. Use mounting screws (D) and a screw driver to attach mounting strap (B)

to the junction box.

ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE

3.Rods(I)areonthexture’swires.Measuretodeterminethecorrect

numberofrodsneededforproperhangingheight.Tolengthenthexture,

addadditionalrods.Ifadditionalrodsareneeded,contacttheplaceof

purchasetoorder.Toshortenthexture,addatleast8to10inchesof

wire to the desired length and trim the wires. Slide any excess rods off the

xture’swirestodiscard.

4. Pull the wires taut through the rods before threading the rods (I) together.

Threadbottomrod(I)ontopost(J)atthecenterofthexture’sbody.

5. Twist the top rod (I) into the threads of swivel post (H) of canopy (G).

Lock the rod (I) in place by twisting the thumb screw on swivel (H). Pull the

xture’swiresthroughthetopofcanopy(G).

CLEANING TIPS

Treat the xture gently! Regular cleaning will reduce the need for deep cleaning. For regular cleaning, turn off the light and wipe down the

xture with a clean lint-free cotton or microber cloth. Never spray cleaner directly onto the xture.

CONNECTING THE WIRES

6.Haveanassistantsupportthexture’sweightwhilecompletingthe

wiring.Refertothewiringdiagramandattachthexture’swirestothe

powersupplywiresfromthejunctionbox.ConnectHottoHot,Neutralto

Neutral,andGroundtoGround.Twisttheendsofthewirepairstogether,

and then twist on a wire connector. Make sure all twists are in the same

direction.Ifthereisnohousegroundwirecomingfromthejunctionbox,

locate ground screw (E) on the mounting bracket/mounting strap and wrap

thexture’sgroundwirearoundthegroundscrew.Useascrewdriverto

tighten the top of ground screw (E) onto the wires and into the mounting

bracket/mounting strap. Tuck the wires into the junction box.

FINISHING THE INSTALLATION

7. Raise canopy (G) to the ceiling. Position the canopy so that mounting

screws (A) protrude through the openings of canopy (G). Secure canopy

(G) to mounting strap (B) with decorative nuts (F).

8.Twistlightbulbs(notprovided)intosockets(L).Donotexceedthe

maximum recommended wattage.

9.Pushthemetalshade(M)uptothexturebodyandsecurethemetal

shadetothexturewithdeconuts(K).

Yourinstallationisnowcomplete.Turnonthepowerandtestthexture.
