Injector Remover / Installer Kit
Application: 7.3L DIT diesel engines
used on 1994 & newer 3/4- and 1-ton
trucks, vans, & Super Duty trucks
Removing the Injector (Figure 1)
1. Place the block under the injector hold-down.
2. Thread the forcing screw through the top corner of
the injector hold-down, and draw the injector out
of the head.
Replacing the Injector (Figure 2)
1. Place the injector into the injector bore in the head.
2. Using the replacer and screw, seat the injector in
the head by tightening the screw into the valve
cover attaching screw hole.
Refer to the vehicle service manual for the complete
procedure.
