Connecting Terminal Interface
Hardware Setup
To communicate with the bootloader a RS232 terminal interface is used. Use the null
modem cable to connect the DSUB-connector with a free serial port of your PC.
Please use the following conguration for your terminal software:
Baudrate: 115,2k Stopbits: 1
Databits: 8 Flow control: none
Parity: none

Connecting Ethernet Interface
Use the Ethernet interface for fast software updates or Internet communication. Just
connect the hardware and your Ethernet switch to an Ethernet cable.
Because emtrion uses dierent Ethernet Controllers on the DIMM modules the voltage for the
LAN transformer must be congured depending on the used CPU module. You can set the voltage with
the jumper J4 on the DIMM-Base Verno.
The following table shows the position of the jumper
according to the CPU module:
CPU module J4 CPU module J4
DIMM-SH7723 1V8 DIMM-MX257 3V3
