Steelcase Avenir Stack-On Panel Frames offer a convenient and versatile solution for expanding your existing Avenir panel system. These frames allow you to easily add additional panels to create larger workstations or reconfigure your layout as needed. The stack-on design makes installation a breeze, simply align the bayonets with the slots in the bottom of the stacker and slide downward until you hear an audible click. The frames are also easy to remove when you need to make changes to your layout.

1. Remove top cap and save
for future use.
2. Remove screws from top
cap reveal and SAVE screws
for the next step. Remove top
cap reveal.

3. Mount connector bracket or
mustache bracket (for an end-of-run
application) to the panel (3a). Align
the bayonet to the top end of the
panel (3b) and secure using two (2)
screws. The outer screw is the screw
that was removed on the previous
step. The inner screw is supplied in a
hardware bag (3c). Repeat
procedure for other end of the panel.
This is the screw that is
supplied in a hardware bag.
NOTE: This screw should
be installed loosely, first, to
hold the bracket in place.
Locate bracket properly with
other screw and then tighten
this screw completely.
For panels made prior to 1996,
a self-tapping screw will need
to be used in this area.

Remove 1/4-20 hex
bolt and re-use it in
this location.

FOR WOOD TOP CAPS:
Use of a standard connector will result in the top cap
not seating fully. Connecting bracket with countersunk
holes installed under wood top cap, must be moved to
top of stack-on frame. Replace with standard connector
bracket supplied with stack-on frame. Use of a standard
connector will result in the top cap not seating fully.

NOTE: Because of the weight
of the stack-on frame, you may
need more than one person to
perform this step.
4. Align tops of bayonets with
the slots in the bottom of the
stacker and slide downward until
an audible click is heard (4a).
Place the washers and the top
cap reveal onto the threaded pins
and install with 1/4-20 nuts as
shown (4b).
5. Install top cap that was
removed on step 1.

1. Remove top cap.
2. Pry top of lock bracket upward (on both
sides) to release the stack-on frame from the
bayonet brackets.
