Builders Best 110696 is a dryer outlet box designed to fit standard 16" center stud construction. It features six pre-scored knockouts for full airflow and easy punch-out, and additional knockouts can be made with a utility knife. The box can be secured to studs with 410 - 2 1/2" wood screws, and it leaves room between the box and studs for drywall. Standard 4” diameter metal venting can be installed before the back-wall is installed, and strapping can be used to secure the pipe to the box for top venting.
