water.Ifyouwishtoconnecttoacontinuouswater
supply,attachthehoseconnectorbyscrewing
itrmlyontothethreadedwaterinlet.
Connecta½”waterhoseandverifythatitiswater-
tightbeforeconnectingtothewatermainsandlling
thetank.Theinternalball-cockvalvewillautomati-
callyshutoffthewatersupplywhenthetankisfull.
Notethatthemaximumpermissiblepressureofthe
watermainsis300kPa.
Thecoolermustbeunpluggedpriortollingwith
water.Thecoolertankcanbelledwithwatereither
throughthewaterinletvalveasdescribedpreviously,
oritcanbepouredthroughthechuteintherearof
theunit.Smallpiecesoficecanalsobeaddedtothe
tankthroughthisopening.
Sufcientwatermustbewithinthewatertank
toallowthewaterpumptooperateandensurethe
supplyofcoolair.Thereisawaterlevelindicatoron
thefrontoftheunit.Ensurethatthewaterlevelis
maintainedbetweentheMAXandMINmarkings.

energizeanddistributewateroverthecooling
pads.Theairmovingoverthecoolingpads
willcreateacoolingeffectafterafewminutes
ofoperation.
• TooperatethelouversturnontheSWINGcontrol.
Thiswillallowtheverticallouverstomove
fromsidetosidedistributingtheairthroughout
theroom.Youcanchangetheairdirection(up
ordown)bymanuallyadjustingthehorizontal
louverswithexternalleversonthefrontrighthand
sideoftheunit.
