GENERAL INFORMATION
LINEAR TRIM AND
EXTENDED TRIM KITS
These instructions are designed to provide information on installing
four andfive piece clean-faced trim kits for Innovative Hearth Products’
Rhapsody, Sirius, DRC3000 Series, and DRC6000 Series Linear Fireplaces.
Two people are recommended for five-piece installations to avoid damage
to the frame.

FIVE PIECE INSTALLATION
1. Take note of the inner tab illustrated in Figure 1.
2. Affix the left trim piece loosely by sliding the catch (see Figure 2) in
the framing bracket loosly around the inner tab.
3. With the assistance of a second person, slide the clean-faced frame
carefully behind the left trim piece taking care not to scratch the frame.
4. While the second person holds the clean-faced frame, affix the right
trim piece by sliding the catch around the inner tab of the right side.

5. One at a time, slide both the left and right trim pieces into place.
6. Repeat the process affixing the top and bottom trim pieces by slid-
ing the catch around the top and bottom inner tabs. Carefully square
all the corners with the top and bottom trim pieces slightly overlapping
the left and right trim pieces (see Figure 3).
FOUR PIECE INSTALLATION
Four-piece installation is similar to five piece installation only without
the addition of the clean-faced frame. It does not require two people.
Simply follow the instructions for Five-piece Installation omitting Steps
3 and 4.
