Safety Notes
1. Read Instructions!
Before working with this unit, read these instructions carefully and completely. Make sure that you
understand all the information!

This roof mount bracket requires working on a roof. There are hazards including electrocution from
overhead wires and falling off roofs or ladders. Do not attempt install when the roof is wet or slippery.
Installation
1. Assemble the L Bracket to the flashing plate.
a. There are two methods that can be used to attach the L Bracket to
the flashing plate. Hardware is included for both methods.
i. Attach using the M6 x 60mm threaded lag bolt. This method
would be used when extra strength/stability is needed, such
as installation in high wind areas. The downside is an
increased risk of water ingress into the roof. Be sure to seal
around the lag bolt using roofing seal.
ii. Attach using the M8 x 30mm flat head bolt and nut. Because
this sits on top of the lower shingles and does not penetrate
the shingle, there is no chance of water ingress.
2. Assemble the flashing plate assembly to the roof.
a. Position under the shingles and secure using 2 roofing nails, then secure with the M4 x 65mm
wood screw.
