Procedure
1.Preparetheinstallationsiteasfollows:
•Ifyouarereplacinganexistinganti-scalproller,
removetheroller,rollerbracket,andallfasteners
fromthemoweranddiscardthem.
•Ifyouareinstallingtheanti-scalprollerforthe
rsttime,locatethethreeholesonthereartrim
ordischargesideofthemower(dependingon
whichkityouareinstalling)andremovethethree
boltsandnutsthatareinstalledintheholes.
2.Installtherollerbrackettothemowerusing3
carriagebolts(3/8x3/4inch)andangenuts(3/8
inch)(Figure1).
Important:Ensurethatyouinstallthecarriage
boltswiththeboltheadsontheinsideofthe
mowerdeckandthenutsontheoutside.

1.Slidethelongspacerintotheanti-scalproller
(Figure1).
2.Placetheshortspacerinsidetherollerhubonthe
sideoftherollerwiththeshorthub(Figure1).
3.Placetherollerintotherollerbracketandpushthe
bolt(3/8x4-1/2inches)throughthebracket,short
spacer,andthelongspacer/rollerassemblyatthe
desiredheight(Figure1).
Note:Inserttheboltsothatitsheadistowardthe
outsideofthemower.
4.Securetherollerwithaangenut(3/8inch)
(Figure1).
